Junkers still retain their neutrality in Liberty but, considering a lot of people on the forums like to make "evil" junkers that like to fight, especially those people that have a grudge against Liberty, they kind of ruin that RP and then they complain, which is idiotic in my opinion. These types of actions will get the junkers either banned or something else in Liberty, they're there by the good will of Liberty and its Navy, not because they have some universal right to be there, and that permission can just as easily be revoked, so to those with a grudge against LSF or LN, try to stop doing these..although not completely ooRP, but ooRP in Liberty characters, and please do join the rogues or something? Because a junker that openly says he's on Rochester and claims how many liberty pilots he killed, how do you think the Navy would react? I've seen at least a dozen such people and I don't play much lately, so pirate weaponry on them is just the tip of the iceberg, since they know or should know that it is outlawed in Liberty to carry those.
I think this is beginning to turn into a flame fest, and its being directed at individuals now. Not to mention we've been drawn away from the original intent of the topic.
The major problem around here are all these trigger happy roleplay wannabes.
Sorry it is rude but it is the truth.
I can remember the times when you stayed 4 hours on the server chasing smugglers, pirates, taxing traders evading navy patrol WITHOUT beeing shot or have to shoot.
Btw: Lads, do you even know the meaning of 'Bountyhunter'?

my 2 cents, cuz i was there in person. (i was on a camera ship, i wont name for many reason)
the junkers in question were given 6 warnings to either disarm the said weaponry, or leave liberty. they were acting more on the 'unfriendly-hostile' side, and after the fourth warning, they moved towards leaving liberty.
they leave New york, and enter texas. (in this time, i move to texas via the JH). the junkers move to houston, and nearly docked, but after a warning, they dangle about, then cruise off. the LN orders them to stop, and asks the merc/BH to assist in disarming the junker's corsair guns, with 'any means necessary'. ofcourse, if they dont drop he guns, there is no other way to make em drop the gun, so killing was the next option, methink.
the BH got the kill on the 2 eagles, and the slipstream helping them, and not to mention, on old steel, who decided to help the junkers in his waran. after the fight, the BH got paid and left. so did the merc.
Now, my take on the situation. the LN have every right to ask the said people to remove the pirate weaponry, since it shows that the said people have distinct ties with one of the biggest pirate factions of sirius. if the Junkers dont agree on dropping the gun, they are asked to leave. they didnt leave liberty as asked, so died.
PVP whoring maybe, but the requests -were- made -in- RP, which were ignored.
(this thread will again, lead to more flames, so i suggest floodify it the second it turns any more nasty.)
The request weren't ignored, we just didn't agree as we thought Junker's would probably not give up their weaponry, made a run for it, and in the process died, all went acording to RP and rules. I don't see what the fuss is all about..

well, the guys involved in the fight spoke himself, and he doesnt see what the problem is. so i got a question.
-what- is the problem?
is the problem -you- got killed, old? cuz it defo wasnt pure pvp whoring..
I have a mercenary armed with Corsair weaponry working for Liberty.
If I recall correctly, Proserpine also had some unlawful weaponry (Inferno).
Now, do these rules apply to me as well even though I'm killing tons of pirates every day or not?
I mean, you can't mistake me for a Corsair or something.
That character has a long story, that's one of the reasons it's keeping it's BSG tag, purely for tradition.
It also didn't change it's weaponry ever since it was made.
Also, you can't consider Corsairs as enemies because of the few indie intrusions.
As far as RP possibilities go, Corsairs would never even be in Liberty.
That means, Liberty would never even see those guns, so wouldn't even ask the questions about them.
I can't see Liberty lawfuls openly hostile to a group of pirates that do not operate in Liberty space.
As I said, few exceptions can't make a rule, since indie idiots would do a lot of things these days.
And by that I do not mean that all indies are idiots, but only the idiotic indies would do such a thing.
So there's no confusion.

I googled it - it means "trigger happy roleplay wannabes".
