XD
When I have the time, I'ma start a faction I thought of ever since I first learned the slave triangle history and before I played freelancer: Happy Slaves
The logo is just a flag with the image of a comic's smiling black dude with the comic sans "Happy Slaves" underneath, although I'm not sure what ID would be appropriate for that faction. Also I'm not sure if that would count as being against the rules?

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Have a faction that wants Austro-Hungarian independence.

Heck, even France launched a Sleeper Ship and named it Gallia.
Belgium is between Germany and France and if the two managed to launch Sleeper Ships then it means Belgium didn't got wiped out by the Coalition at the time, so what happened to it?
Belgium is an artificial country formed by treaties, not ethnic identity. Half of it (you, presumably, are Belgian) is French, the other half is Dutch.
To be honest, Im more disappointed that Rheinland hasn't seperated into Prussia and Pomerania by now.
