Hah!
I wonder if I should send you a PM regarding this, Richard.
To the two new admins;
Do what you think is right. Stick to your own principles. Do not mindlessly maintain the status quo out of fear of failure.
You will enjoy your job for some time, and then you will eventually hate it.
You will get told you are corrupt and evil - sometimes by people who previously supported you as an admin... Often simply because you did one thing they disagreed with - or you applied the rules to their behaviour. They will accuse you of being unfair, unjust, holding bias, being part of a conspiracy or whatever catchphrase the community is using at the time.
This will be tiring and frustrating, but so long as you stick to your principles and do what you think is right, then you're probably doing an alright job.

And the only way to deal with these horrible people is to never, ever, try to understand their perspective, but rather call them conspiracy theorists instead. That may sound inflexible but it really requires great flexibility when it comes to applying standards to one person or another.
Always remember your guiding principles:
1. You and those that you deem worthy are better than other people.
2. Being better must not go unrewarded.
3. The ends justify the means.
