Raven's Talon . want that vibe back

The primary goal was to design a replacement for an import. I do like it's looks, you don't, others may have different opinions, but right now it fulfills its purpose.

Got a problem with name-model mismatch? Request rename and infocard rewrite and submit your proposal for it. Or go and model your own unique concept of a Raven's Talon, texture it, make it ready for implementation, or find somebody to do all these things for you, and then submit it to the Devs. I'd recommend the former option as it's seemingly requires less effort to realize, but in the end it is up to you which course you take. But keep in mind that whiny threads won't have the same result as the two other options above.

You know I hate it when people call out whining when its not. It just undermines everything that you say right now. Learn to keep your mouth shut at insulting who is stating an issue and respond to the question/statemen. And yeah i already got both responses which you said so you dont have to repeat it over again to get your post count higher and put me down.

The thing I hate about this is the fact that nothing was worked on for the raven to make it unique and stand out like it dis before. Its now just a copy. Whoever designed it no offence but they got lazy at the end and were like ooooo tail fin yes!

Well, design is fluff without some substance and viable implementation to back it up. It's more like they worked hard - during their own time, probably for free - to design, model, texture, and submit something for one or both ships and there weren't alternative submissions chosen because there's more criticism than deliverables around here.

People are interpreting this as whining because of the title and the fact that the posts disregard the effort the modeler put into the ship in an insulting, less than mature fashion, without offering a substitute upfront. Yes, it's similar, but consider the fact that they even provided - or were called on to make - two models in a short time frame. Otherwise, the Raven's Talon may have been removed altogether as per the "no imports" policy and an abundance of other civilian fighters.

No offense, but saying "no offense" doesn't excuse anything, ever - especially not calling someone who actually did the work "lazy" - and even moreso when there's no alternative offered - it's simply childish, just saying.

Please clarify what is "slightly different"? If you want to see a substitute, there needs to be work involved. There haven't been any other calls to change it, so the onus is on you to offer something ready to implement.

You are getting upset about being called out for "whining" and being "put down" while simultaneously putting down someone else - take a moment to think about that. Why not preempt the impending green text by kindly stepping back and assessing how things have been going lately and why so many recent threads have been locked?

Of course and you can say everyone is a critic. And yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion and yes people work for free on this. I dont really see it as such and I dont hold the answer just yet, though i DID say i could draw something up. My initial answer was the bring the original back cuz i didnt know it was an import. The policy of no imports imo is bull but that doesnt justify removing a ship all together. That also doesnt justify to make a quick and easy design from another model and say screw it.

Yes yes again your repeating yourself again. Slightly different means Adding a TAIL WING at the back and leaving it. I design in school. Its a pet peve of mine to notice such things and its irritating.

let me just add in addition, what i presented in the beginning is in the form of straight and blunt and to the point to see if some agree. I again didnt know it was a import BUT still im not quite happy with the outcome and its not only me that clearly agrees (from the votes).

Alright so basically the P.U.D threads you really have to understand to underlying things behind it to understand why they were locked. And I also asked for them to be locked.

Letter to NoMe is quite frankally something that was irritating me to I asked nicely. It didnt get shot down until later when others came in. Not my fault on that one.

Polandball thread is also a flood thread. And common what does it have ANYTHING to do with your argument? Its just me being silly and trying to share something i found. No idea why it got locked but whatever.

And the last one is the only one i can say is a deserved lock. But after (and even before) I have been helping new members when they asked for thing. I fly on Blazing.Angel[P] ship a lot and get mistaken for an [Angel] and help out. Im quite serious.

Also. All those threads are not recent. That last one for instance is actually quite old.
Again, better to understand the context as to why it was locked and not just look through my list of theads and check off each one that is locked. I kinda knew you would just blindly do that.
