It fits on most gb's however like some already typed its rediculous, also because you are not unbeatable

cap armour mk8 multiplies armour by 4 wich means that yor nanos go 4 times quicker then when having no armour so it does not make a lot of difference in a large fight

It prevents to be instant killed, but you wont need a cap armour MKVIII of 890 mill for that

Actually, I believe nanobots' repairing ability increases when you have armor upgrades (was discussed in another thread).
Anyway, I do agree with the fact gunboats shouldn't be carrying that kind of armor, but for a BS, it would be ok.

Basically, it sucks and seems ooRP, but there's really nothing anyone can do about it. And yes, nano power increases.

Just something we have to grit and bare. No way around it.

But these kinda things are seen in NPCs too. They have like a 5x armor or so(The armor upgrade can't be scanned though). And still they keep using NBs/SBs.

Point is if the player wishes to sacrifice his 850 mil in buying an armor, he has his advantages in it.

Well, it's not so much sacrifice as it is PvP related necessity, and it takes hours upon hours of usually ooRP powertrading to work up those funds.

Still, nothing we can do about it.

Why not make gunboat armors then that are mountable on cruisers too?

There are fighter armors, and cap armors. Fighters are equippable for all, caps are equippable for gunboats and up.

I know that of course, but I mean is to make armors for "fighters","gunboats and cruisers" and "battleships".

I don't see much reason for that. The amor multipliers would still be painfully similar.
