Firstly, I'd like to reiterate the request I made of you in my last post - and, in fact, extend it to everyone else posting here. Please keep it civil, unless you want this thread to be locked and die. I feel like that wouldn't be for the best.
Secondly, the post you just made contradicts your first post in several places. I think you might be better served by taking a step away and calming down before you say anything further.
Thirdly, if you have any proof of me in particular doing any of the above (including mocking Arabs with my Teamspeak name and music broadcasts!), please, please feel free to share it here. Otherwise, I'd really prefer that you stopped accusing me of such. With reference to yesterday, in particular, I have more than a few people who can attest to my not even being on the server at the time, let alone sieging Nebula Complex.
Unfortunately, I can't control anyone else who uses the Discovery TS, since it's open for all to access - including yourself. I'd suggest you take any issues regarding it up with Data/evanz, as he is the owner.

Uhm, well, don't mean to burst your bubble but we were the ones, (mind you, keeping this incognito), who blew up your base in Kansas that first time - in hopes that we could achieve some kind of inRP-disaster, but apparently they wouldn't turn out well.
I don't really want to take part in these kind of threads because usually the administration side silences your opinion by invis'ing or banning you because you shared an opinion or view on something. But I would have to agree that the admin team really needs a review.
i know that the Question marks <???> is you nyx and your friends who sided with the teamspeak squad , btw , you got a HOLE in your teamspeak server and some words are being leaked from there so i know who u are and why you suddenly attacked the base in kansas ....

Please don't. You're almost certainly the most approachable and communicative admin, and that's important.

Please, go on with your angry posts of toy throwing because you don't like how this free server is run.
Easy to say in your uniquely convenient position, isn't it?
I don't really want to get dragged down into this thread too much, but I'll say my piece.
I think your numbers of "good Admins" is a little low, Omi. I've been able to approach and discuss various issues with six admins, not two or four. They each (as well as most the others) have done a good job in enforcing rules, and an occasional mistake or grudge match is bound to happen. It should be approached differently than "you're bad, let's fire you from the team", and instead with "you done messed up, but you're fine so long as you've learned your lesson". Consequences for Forum Team members should definitely exist, as all ought to be reproachable. Everyone makes mistakes after all, and the Admins, like us, are not infallible.
That said, there's certainly one Admin who I've seen consistently mess up simple stuff like ID rules and needlessly threaten good players, who should probably have gotten removed a long time ago.
Also, you're very right that they can be a little uninspiring - in some ways, many just seem (and appearances, while deceiving, are very important) to act like regular Moderators but with bigger guns. They need to inspire confidence, encourage a more positive atmosphere/environment, and in general help get things going along. Some do, of course; I'm not saying that this bill fits all of them, but still.
More visibility, increased accountability, and better proactivity in regards to the rules, are what the Admin team needs to do.
Aaaaand with luck this reply won't get swept under by people arguing in here.

Lol alright, believe what you wish, I cannot change your view.
But one thing for certain - those squad members aren't actually from TS, and rumours will always be rumours, not truth or evidence. So you don't know 'why' - aside from what I told you - that I attacked you. Besides, I was going to let the second base in Kansas slip because it might have generated activity around that area, if I really wanted to kill it, I would have.
I have nothing more to say as this is a useless conversation and will only cause more issues, unless you have some legitimate questions to ask which you should PM me. This is going off topic with this minor feud.

I actually semi-agree with this. I had the number at four or five, initially - but I mentally struck three off on grounds of either being hugely inactive, more than a little 'emotional', or simply not knowing them well enough.
Certainly, it's not a case of 'there are only two admins that I consider "good" and the rest are all as bad as each other'. It's by no means black and white.
The orignal post is exaggerated.
If you play nice, you can be here for years without needing Admins and without crossing their path.
It is a special type of player that gets into contact with them often and let's not claim that this is purely incidental and based on admins hating them.
I can't say bad things against Admins from my personal perspective. The one decision that was wrong in my opinion was discussed and a compromise was found. I have received help from the Admins when needed and even though I do not agree with every thing that is done, I will grant them that they try their best to make playing an enjoyable experience. They are however only humans and of course they can make mistakes. We, the users that create the messy situations they have to look at, are at least as guilty because we tend to create impossible situations in which we force the Admins to take a decision. If everybody played nice, half the big sanction stuff would not be necessary. Half the people would not feel their rights violated.
Perhaps thinking about what we (everybody in the community him/herself) can change to make it better might help a lot more than calling for a revoluation and the replacement of the team by some entity that will hardly be able to do better than what we have now.
Jack
P.S: And about the HF siege; Charos wrote in the sanction threat that it was a Freelancer base. So yes, there is a reason if that is true.
I'm not speaking as staff member here, but I'm convinced that freedom of speach is no reason to get banned here.
In fact, it's rather interesting to read such "dared criticism". Of course there's chances that people take it the wrong way (especially if they can abuse their powers on you), but it's totally worth it for reaching a better "cohabitation" within the forums.

The staff consists of community member, and they monitor each other as they should monitor everyone here. Administration never is a perfect system, as there'll always be wrong decisions made, different opinions and human failure. However, an adminstration team is necessary to keep things running. The lack of trust and confidence is indeed a difficult topic, and I'd like to hear some opinions on how to enhance the staff-member relations.
I for one, can guarantee you, that I'll do my best possible to have nobody, speaking free in this thread, getting banned for it.

If this many people are complaining about it, perhaps it's not as exaggerated as you think it may be. I've seen admins who are incredibly helpful and willing to work alongside players - and I've seen the exact opposite, calling out players for breaking rules that don't even exist, or haven't existed for years, and not even saying so much as "Sorry" when they make the mistake.
