"I didn't ask for a story." Skye glared at Saiker, he disliked uneccesary talk.
Skye shuffled a bit, and continued:
"I've flown a Sabre myself. Didn't like it much, but suit yourself. I'll take a look at the equipment you have on it later - don't believe anyone that tells you 'It's not the ship, it's the pilot'. Trust me on that."
Skye paused for a moment, looking at nothing in particular.
"The rumors you have heard are the absolute truth. My name in its entirety is Skye li-Bretonia, if you didn't know already."
He took a drink out of his near-empty beer bottle, waiting for a reaction.
Ashes followed Sylpheed with her eyes when he got to his feet. It was rather terrifying to see him angry like that, just another reason not to get on his bad side, though. She wouldn't expect to recieve any special treatment, should she get on his bad side. Ashes winced slightly when Sylpheed punched that outcast in the gut.
Shuffling backwards on her seat, Ashes pushed herself away from the table and got to her feet, and moved closer to the boss.
"Another round." She called to the bartender, and sat down next to Sylpheed. Quick as usual, the bartender pulled up two drinks, a glass of sake in front of Ashes and wisky for the Boss. Ashes clutched the glass with her fingertips.
"If you need more hands for transporting, I've had some experience working and flying a Firefly. If I can get a crew and a ship, I can garuntee my shipments will make it on time." She said to Sylpheed, and brought the glass to her lips, and paced herself as she polished it off, and placed the glass back down on the counter.
Finn walks into the bar with a large, black wolf at his side. Pausing for a moment to look around he heads to the bar, takes a seat and motions the wolf to lay down.
"rogue wine, please. but just a glass. Were on our way home."
Sylpheed looked across at ashes. "Firefly, you say? Good old fashioned smuggling ship, ran one myself for a while. Long ago, mind, long ago. Sure get it set-up. We need all the money we can get nowadays."
Sylpheed knocked back his whiskey and ordered another. Hearing a low growl beside him, Sylpheed looked down into the eyes of a alrge black wolf.
"Well I'll be, haven't seen one of these since I last landed on LA." He looked at Ashes, "They got this huge nature reserve, I mean huge. Gotta be about 300mile radius or somesuch. Used to take breaks there with my engineering crew... heh that's a little too much noise on that subject."
Sylpheed reached down gently and scratched the wolf under the chin. The wolf made no reaction to his presence except to stop growling.
"Nother whiskey barman, and leave the bottle."
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
"I'll catch a Mule from here to Montezuma." Ashes said, but not right now. First, she needed another drink, and to contact her smuggler friend to loan a few credits. Even though Ashes was no longer part of her crew, the smuggler still treated Ashes like her own family.
The large wolf startled Ashes, she hadn't seen any kind of living animal since she had left Kyushu many years ago. It was uncommon to see them anywhere but on planets. Sylpheed seemed to have a way with the black wolf, though. Sylpheed was a strange man in deed, Ashes his strength and fearful respect with which he lead. But it seemed like there was another side to him, also. She didn't want to pry into that, despite her curiosity.
Ashes ordered another drink as well, as long as there was good company she didn't feel guilty drinking so much, even if she had only just woken up.
Andrew sighed silently as he began to head up to the elevator bay, looking down at the now rather scratched sabre docked there, it would need some work, those fields around bases aren't fun indeed.
He stepped into the elevator and soon walked into the bar, smiling and nodding at the bartender and stood behind Sylpheed and Ashes.
"That must have been the fastest trip in my life..."
He murmured and placed the electronic pocket handbook in front of his boss and slumped further away against the bar.
"Found the one missing yesterday but...nothing i can say. Except if we make another 'secret' shipment and this time we add some strings attached..."
Andrew then took out an odd looking device and murmured silently "Thing is...the air in the ship. Some traces of simple sleeping gasses, long filtered, but it was on the walls, deck, everywhere..."
He shook his head some and smiled "Ill flush him out. Also, the base got a quick refil from America base, so the personnel will be fine for the time being till the next convoy arrives, boss."
A group of Blood Wolves pilots walk into the bar led by Finn. At Finn's side as always is the large black wolf, Morte. The motley group moves to a table and begins to order rounds of ale. After a short time a young scout rises from the group and walks to where Sylpheed is seated at the bar.
"Begging your pardon sir, but the Elder said to drop this to you."
The young pilot hands over a memory stick, then turns and returns to the table of increasingly intoxicated pilots, just as a rather large pilot breaks out in song.
"A Scotsman clad in kilt left the bar one evening fair
And one could tell by how he walked he'd drunk more than his share
He staggered on until he could no longer keep his feet
Then stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street.
Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street.
Later on two young and lovely girls just happened by,
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
You see yon sleeping Scotsman who is young and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath their kilt.
Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath their kilt.
They crept up to the sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Then lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold for them to view beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing but what God had graced him with upon his birth
Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
There was nothing there but what God gave upon his birth
They marveled for a moment then one said we'd best be gone
But let's leave a present for our friend before we move along
They took a blue silk ribbon and they tied it in a bow
Around the bonnie spar that the Scot's lifted kilt did show
Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
Around the bonnie spar that the Scot's lifted kilt did show
The Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled toward a tree
Behind a bush he lifts his kilt and gawks at what he sees
Then in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes
He said, 'Lad I don't know where you've been but I see you won first
prize'
Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
He said, 'Lad I don't know where you've been but I see you won first prize'"
The group applauds laughing, and returns to drinking.
Oliver barges the front doors open, Knocking an Outcast high on cardi to the ground.
"BLOODY COWARDS, Say I am compensating while they hide behind a Gunboat and a Battleship!"
Oliver shows up next to ashes who smiles at him as he sits down.
"You were always faster than me at getting to the bar"
Oliver raises 3 fingers in the air, Gesturing for three rounds of the Norm.
The barmen walks by with three large Mugs of beer.
Ashes smiles and grabs two of them.
"Oi, I wanted that." Oliver says with a grin.
"Too slow ollie" Ashes says and starts off on her first one.
After finishing of his beer, Oliver remember something he should have mentioned earlier.
"Umm, You know that old roommate you talk about who joined the LPI?"Oliver says with a fear in his eyes for what ashes might do if she thinks he had known this for some time.
"Marx?" ashes says abit slurred from the beer.
"Yeah, Well I think she is switching sides" as oliver says this he raises his hand expecting to get slaped.
"MARX!" ashes loses any sign of a hangover and runs outside towards the elevator, most likely heading for her room to call marx.

Unlike me, I'm pro at making it look like I actually have an opinion on the topic.
Except in this post.
I'm feeling rebellious.
As a busy day goes, Alcatraz seems rather quiet in the rush hour when everyone is overtaken by hard labor and mischievous deeds. The personnel in the docking crew caught a signal on their scanners. A "Falchion" was coming their way.
"Permission to land." - stated the pilot.
"Permission granted. You are clear to land. Please go to dock one." - answered the personnel after a full scan of the cargo hold of the new to their common sight ship.
After the ship docked a man, 1,82 meters tall, with dark hair and brown, deep, and rather carried away eyes, with a standard uniform for flying, carrying a computer in one hand, stepped down the ramp connected to his ship. He went to the elevator and pressed the button to call it. In a moment the doors opened and all of sudden a good looking girl literally flew out of the elevator right into the man, she staggered, but the man was fast enough to catch her and raise her on her feet. She apologized, blushed a little and went running again. The man stepped inside the elevator laughing as he went up to the bar.
The doors opened and laugh and growling taken over all other sounds. The group of Wolves, led by Finn were laughing throaty at one of the corner tables.
The man ignored them and went to the bar, where sitting were two men. He recognized Sylpheed, but the other one he didn't know. Because he and Sylpheed weren't appointed personally he didn't bother greeting him, so he just sat beside them and called the bartender.
"Good day, sir. I would like a small whiskey and a coke."
"Right away, sir."
The bartender reached under the counter and took out 2 glasses, one for the whiskey and one for the coke.
"There you go. That would be 250 credits please."
The man took something out of his pocket, which seemed like a credit card, but it was a bit different and handed it over to the bartender.
"There, you can have 300. I'm rather in a good mood."
The man put his computer on the counter and started typing something as he sipped a tiny amount of whiskey into his mouth tasting every drop. However, he didn't know what he was typing, because all he could think about at that moment was the girl who flew right at him. He began to laugh in his head.
