I agree 100% with this. I really love the overall esthetic of these ships but quite frankly that whale design looks better served as a possible zoner battlecrusier ^^ (yeah I can hear you laughing). If that design comes with weapons then it makes more sense, however I would dearly miss my unarmed boat that seems based on Thunderbird 2.
So pro!
As far as the Fearless goes, I wish you had only shortened the rear engine guards (or whatever the're called) and not removed them entirely. It does not look balanced anymore. Otherwise I like it a lot.
I have no critique for the Aquilion. I never liked the design of it in the first place and this looks closer to a general purpose war ship then a specific carrier, which I think the Zoners really need right now. Looks great, Ill buy one when it comes out.
The esthetic of the whale totally needs an update, I just hope that the basic shape of it stays closer to its original. I am still very excited to be flying these in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
I know, the exposed cargo containers on the current whale model are increasing the poly count of the model quite a lot, but it is still more unique looking, than the streamlined proposition of yours.
The current Zoner transport and cap ship line doesn't really need a total design overhaul. A clean up to get rid of some unnecessary details to reduce the poly count and a material overhaul would be enough.
Although the current carrier model seems nicely textured.
The first Zoner destroyer I made was a horrible model by quality. The current model is of far better quality. Yet it kept the design in general which always resembled the first Zoner cap ship in the mod: The Munificient class frigate from the Star Wars prequels. We got rid of the Munificient model, but back then and now I still think the design fits the Zoners perfectly. Rough, but tough and different as the Zoners themselves. The streamlined design does not remind me of Zoners.
i don't think that zoners need another capital ship, this case one battlecruiser, but it could be one battle transport. so far the only ship that zoners "can call" a battle transport is the border world train or a liner.
I do not want to re-master the existing ships, I want to re-design them, to have a consistent line.
I will naturally take all the input in consideration and see what can be done.

What I meant was I always wanted the Aquilion to be less a carrier and more of a real warship. I do my best to do decent Zoner RP and its always bugged me that our two cap options are a carrier and a colony ship. Its why I've never owned or wanted a Neph and why I don't own a Aquilion since returning. But no, I don't think we really need any new ship types outright atm, just an Aquillion thats less a carrier and more of a real capital. There is Bustard if a carrier is needed.

lol, This is the part I hated the most about the old design ^^ to each there own

Agreed with this. It made it really flimsy looking to my opinion. One torpedo to the carrier bay and bang, ship gone. Same problem with the Legate
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

agree. i never flew the neph because i had the old jinkusu, or somethin like that, and when the neph camed people said that it was even bigger and worst, but it is a colony ship so it must be huge. i know the aquilon .... old one ... it is ok but not a real warship that can go one on one against one nomad bs, and i agree that is what some zoners need, mainly on the omicrons. about being a carrier ... how many aquilons that are used as carriers? never saw one, so why zoners need carrier? they don't, like you say if they need so use the bustard.
my fear of that zbt design, that i like, is taht the zbt could lose the only advantage it has, handling, so i don't mind to see that design on a battle transport ... sirius is a danger place and even "zonnies" need some guns, some official factions are using bisons ... so i really think that one zoner battle transport could be a good thing.
Is that carrier roughly the same as the current zoner carrier?
The current zoner carrier is already a decent ship. Any smaller and it risks being too strong.
