I didn't participate in the event, but I was online during phase 2 during which I noticed that players from two different factions had named their ships for the Graf Spee, so I sent both of them PMs telling them that my father had witnessed the scuttling of the Graf Spee from Buenos Aires -- he could see the smoke, but not the ship itself, as it was over the horizon.
