I honestly think cargo piracy is much more in-rp for the Privateers. I understand that taking some money from traders trading with Kusari brings money into the treasury and make it a bit more expensive for Kusari to trade, but in the end, the cargo is still getting to the destination.
edit: btw, The AFA have been playing with transports for the lulz for quite awhile now, so yet again, we see the privateers modeling themselves after the AFA. At least they know good inspiration when they see it.:P:P:P

I agree, so it really depends on the cargo. Consumer goods, optronics and the like, we'll probably just try extort for money. Guns, fuel, military vehicles, we're taking for ourselves. It really depends on the individual privateer and the individual trader, but I certainly agree.
EDIT: LOL.
Also, I know our ID allows the Pirate Transport, but... I can't really see us using it, to be fair. I'd rather use a Shire C-Trans, but that isn't allowed. Opinions there? I don't want an 'I stole it' story.
I'm looking forward to testing out my Clydesdale against unruly transports, then hauling back stolen war supplies. :D
As far as the P-Trans goes, the only place remotely in-RP for us to get it is from the GC Guard system... Which would of course require some pre-arranged diplomacy with the GC and likely an escort for whomever goes in there to buy it. But we do have a friend who produces them. On the other hand, I don't really like the look of it for the Privateers (who I see in more civilian and Bretonian ships, not those based off the pirate shipline).
What we really need is a privateering skiff, something like an Armored Transport, except Bretonian and with a CD.

That would be sweet. It would probably be in Bretonian colours, but with a skull painted on it anyway, just to keep up appearances.
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

And you modeled yourself off of my beastly Behemoth in the Rhein lands. This is why I'm Farmer Extraordinaire. :P
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

On that note, this will prevent accidental faction invites of the Privateer groups, who should, in RP, be away from "legitimate" militaries.
