I put a lot of effort into importing this planet from Omicron Sigma and changing it's skin to more appreciable for it's conditions due to how faction is tied up with it RP wise, that is why I want to bring up sense. If you think that a planet with extreme temperatures about -200 / -300 degrees located almost within sun corona is a good idea - I have bad news for you.

To be fair, it can get extremely cold on planets that close to their suns, as Mercury proves. Though, assuming we're dealing in Celsius, -300 degrees would be a bit of a stretch, as that is colder than absolute zero.

It can get cold, on the dark side it is provided that the day/night cycle is not short enough for the surface to stay heated. The type of the parent star also impacts the temperatures given the same distance. Still, just a cold planet in the vicinity of the star looks an oversight and not a calculated exception in this case.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I was just pointing out that it can get very cold (on the night side). Slapping an ice planet that close to the star and calling it a day is, indeed, a pretty stupid mistake.
Since when are in-game solars supposed to accurately represent distances in space? We have Dabadoru and Nauru like 15k from each other yet nobody complained thus far.
Why would it need to be changed?

It is not a matter of scale but logic. If the icy planet is the closest to the sun, then it is weird. If there are closer planets indicating that the planet itself is further away from the Goldilocks zone, then it can be attributed to game scaling.
The temperatures is in between of -230 and -112. I believe higher temperature is meant to be during day time cycle but its still too close for a frozen world.

Probably, but to be frankly current location could overwrite infocard to the barren world that will be a total game change for us. If distant frozen world could coexist next to sun in Disco without an issue - all good.
