Liberty officials report a massive explosion has rocked the Bellaire Industrial Complex on Planet Houston, destroying numerous storage facilities and killing at least 28 individuals, authorities say. Initial reports indicate this as a potential retaliatory strike by Xeno terrorist elements operating within the edges of Liberty Space.
Sources say an incredible amount of industrial materials were destroyed in the disastrous attack, leading to a critical shortage of Cobalt, experts are saying, inevitably temporarily spiking demand on the industrial world.
Local LPI forces warn commercial shippers to use all necessary precautions to protect their convoy's coming into the Texas system while the terrorists remain active...
Cobalt sellpoints are now boosted on Planet Houston and fence points added at Barrow Base in Hudson through the continuation of this event.

'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
Just as a quality of life change (suggestion is a better word), it'd be appreciated if groups like the Junkers (whom here are the faction selling the items themselves) would not be allowed to pirate ships carrying the event items. It, pretty much, is piracy of their own profit, thus not making a lot of sense.
Do correct me if I am wrong, though, Junker lore is not something I excel at.
Edit for an added PS: The event's great so far, I really like it.
I enjoyed the event until my Junker character (who was only trading) got killed in Omega-3 by an AI player who acted like a murderous robot instead of a curious AI. Since when are AI players allowed to act like Xenos? Anyway, that ended my participation in the event.
