As the combined peacekeeping forces encircled the pirates, they found themselves to have vastly underestimated the pirates. The naval forces an bounty hunters were routed by a combined pirate coalition, and the venture ended in disaster.
LSF intel is hopeful about the pirates taking the bait, but uncertain about the nature of Galileo going forward, as of the last two battles. However, trade is still to continue, and reinforcements are to be placed as to bring defensive and offensive actions. Due to a lesser force being detected, analysts suspect the last victory to have thinned out pirate numbers, although many are still operating within, and Galileo will remain a dangerous interroute between Liberty and Kusari, policed by bounty hunters and far patrols, as before.
