For the record, Oracles diddn't leave because of the LPI, they left because the shrine told them to for, mysterious and diabolical reasons. (that and the fact that no one can get to the shrine due to the kansas bug kind of wrecked things.
As for the LPI, we are outnumbered at almost every turn. Every time I log into my LPI The odds are against me. Somewhere on my patrol route there is a big nasty gunboat, perhaps even a destroyer waiting to pounce. Somehow, once in a while we manage to pull together with teamwork that you will not see in any other faction, and drive vastly superior hordes of pirate lolcaps back where they came from.
Yes, we are getting much stronger now and some criminals might not like that, well, maybe this will help

To be honest in the way that only somebody who is on both sides can? It is 90% of the time the newer members of the factions bringing it down upon themselves because they lack common sense, and more often than not it's those of the LPI, but I've seen a lot from the latest batch of LSF too.
At Kira: I seem to remember you getting yourself fired because you metagamed and said another officer was a cardamine smuggler when he switched between the two characters, then caused a royal pissfest.
At the rest of the thread: Meh. I can suck it up either way, but if it offends my fellow officers I guess they have the right to be offended.
I think the LPI deserves respect, in a Sector which is the busiest house and the house with the biggest LOLWUT sticker stapled on its forehead. I tried to start a character there once, and It completely failed, RP is VERY hard to do in Liberty. (which is why i moved to Rhienland then Kusari)
I miss the old LPI... all I see these days is LPI-SWAT-firstname.lastname[U]/[R] or a Guardian, or Avenger. Where did all the Liberators' go? I know you guys have to deal with a lot of Gunboats and all, so I don't blame you for having them. But it seems to me that the 'heavy weapons' are relied on much more than the classic Liberator these days. I tell you, I fear Liberators more than I fear Upholders or Rocs, cause at least I can spoon feed those a SNAC.
Liberators are pure unadulterated evil. Their turn rate + my lagtasticity = speck of light teleporting across my screen every two seconds. I don't know how anyone can even hit those damn things haha.
I would MUCH rather put up with Guardians and Avengers...they make my life so much easier:D
Yet more Rocs etc is a response to lolcap activity in Liberty, bigger amd bigger every day. Simply there is no choice if you want to keep at least a bit of order in NY and around.

The LPI has in the past been a fun-faction. In the past. Since quite some time, it is a real good faction, doing everything they can do within Liberty to hold up the laws.
As Liberty is a bit crowded, this mostly happens in York only.
I respect every LPI officer that stays in New York for longer than 1 hour and is not totally confused afterwards.
For me, New York was almost all the time i've been there a fail. And after 10 minutes i needed a break. (That was when i had my Rogues long ago.)
I have tried to fly in Liberty again maybe half a year ago. But it's quite hard. Pirats between Norfolk and Texas, Pirats at Baltimore, Xenos singing at Detroit, 10 tons of smugglers constantly incoming, some from Alaska, and then my lonely little lawful. And when i called in Skype, noone came because when i needed some noone was online in Skype. Meh. 20 minutes of York, and i was just AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Keep on doing your good job LPI!
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

From the newer LSF; Lulwuttage, pvpwhorage and general lack of common sense. If you want details, ask Petraeus or Walker or whoever's in charge these days, we're spoken with them about it.
