What's so amazing and surprising about VHF killing a GB? It's not like it's THAT rare. As well as two fighters taking out cruiser. Just takes time and patience. Lot of time in most cases. Of course this goes only when the cap-pilot isn't all that good and fighter-pilot not that bad.

It has a lot more to do with the fighter having the inferno cannon.
Most factions do not have access to those guns. If you think otherwise, try dropping the inferno and doing without it.
