Asking two million from 10 traders. One paid, 2 F1ned, other 7 died as they tried to flee or open fire.
I made 2 million off 10 traders + what I could tractor in on my Barghest.
Now I asked 500k
9 paid, 1 died as he opened fire without a word.
500 x 9 = 4.5 million It is more profitable both for YOU and the TRADER if you ask less.
Hehe ... that's been my formula for over a year now. Been tryin to get my fellow pirates to understand it. But you still get those irritating traders that refuse to even pay that small sum.
I made 10 mil in one night in Sigma 13. When I say one night I mean a couple hours. That was when you could see about 5 traders at a time passing by ... going back and forth non-stop between Dresden and Kyushu (commonly known as the Diamond Run).
And I made that money without having to hit the same guy more than once. I tend to get at least 500k off each trader ... and those that don't pay have to deal with me every time they see me (which equates to delays in their shipments and a waste of their time). Once destroyed the same ship 12 times (plus or minus 1 or 2 times) because he just plane refused to role play. He'd hit cruise ... I'd CD him and try to speak with him ... he'd keep running with no word what-so-ever.
About a dozen times later I gave up trying to "force" him to role play. That's when I came to the conclusion that you cannot ever ... no not ever ... force anyone to role play ... even rules don't get them to play right. And I'm not just talking about traders.
Anyway ... at least I kept the dude from trading for a good 30 minutes. And he lost a full load of goods every time he came by me. So in a sense I kinda won the day. I got to get my pwning done on a non-role playing trader ... and he got poorer and wasted his day.
