I think he was talking to cannon, if he could make something so alll the commodities have been FlHooked and therefore, its impossible to find routes withouth FlCompanion, and the wiki commoditiy prices get an accuracy of 0%.
As of a few days ago, all the commodity pages have been verified against the inis and updated again.
This latest update also includes our new versioning system that will put large 'outdated' notices on every old page as soon as a new version of the mod comes out. Even better, each commodity page includes a disclaimer at the bottom that reminds the diligent Discovery player that the prices listed are only for reference, and that they can be changed server-side. It also suggests that at any time you find a price to be incorrect, you are encouraged to update it to help everyone else (provided it's a bugfix price change, not an event mod).
I would also like to point out that the only prices listed on the wiki are where you can buy the commodity, not sell it (which further reduces the chance of them being wrong, as it seems that the sell points receive the fixes more often). The primary reason for only listing selling locations instead of a full sirius-wide price list, is that you can use FLCompanion for that, and we're just telling you where you can buy the commodity. If the prices are off, hey, at least you can still buy it there, and as far as I know that isn't changed via flhook at this point.
Some say that he's a CIA experiment that went wrong, and that he only eats cheese. All we know is that he's not The Stig - he's The Stig's American cousin.
' Wrote:In this particular scenario, Freelancer Companion and Datastorm won't help. Why ? Because commodity prices are controlled server side. Yes - this IS the REAL Admin conspiracy, although not the one people think exist. You see, the REAL Admin conspiracy is to keep the game interesting on the server and in keeping with the name of the mod : DISCOVERY.
So when marketdemands for a particular commodity are filled, commodity prices changes, new demands by consumers pop up somewhere else.. So go forth and Discover.

Freelancer Companion works normally with dynamic economy... had it on other servers... just restarded it every time i dock anywhere... dont know which version disco use... maybe it do not work... but i hope it works
speaking of commodities and Wikki info, why aren't pilots listed as...Oh, because you can't BUY em and all it lists are the purchase locations. rats.
I'd really like to know what the best locales are for selling captured, defeated enemy pilots. For instance I just unloaded about 170 Red Hessians at Sheffield Station and only got about $7,200 each for them. I'm sure there's a better price somewhere, but I've no idea where.
This is an important bit of information for a freelancer who makes most of his living running missions. (It's a little risky, but much more fun than mining or trading).
