This is the only rule that would apply and I think this one could probably go either way. Although it doesnt say anything about coming back after the fight is over and killing someone else who was involved. I know it would be a huge pain for them, but I really think the admins need to rewrite some of these rules. They are too wide open to interpretation. Unfortunately the way they stand now either side of an arguement could use many of the rules to further their own agenda, and it would be tough for anyone to argue with either of them.
But Im sorry, Thomas Hill's situation, there is nothing to be found in the rules that even comes close to relating to that situation.
Edit: To add to this, how long does one have to wait before they can engage someone they lost to? 1 hour, 5 hours, 24 hours, a week? Its not clear. It just says you cannot return to the battle to reengage.
to the last bit I would just say that with the amount the server is crashing at the moment you should be able to re-engage straight away...lol
seriously though, I would imagine a log off/on should be ok. after all you will have left the game completely if you do this.
