Also if the ship you are in formation with uses engine kill or thruster your ship will try to cruise to keep up with it so it might not be the most practial thing to do.
Oh and really cool video.
Man why do I never get to take part in anything like this (I know I am not RM but I mean in general) I have not had any really large battles since the SF/TC vs AW times.
Kiggles:)
I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

You stole my idea! I was talking to Yuri about that!
Nah, it's a good idea we both had. The problem is perhaps an issue of copyright and availability. Does anyone here actually have a complete copy of Flight of the Valkyries?

How did you zoom in on the separate parts of the video? I have been trying to do that for some time with my Movie Maker, but I haven't been able to find out how.
Verg
You mean Windows Movie Maker? You can't zoom with that program. It's very rudimentary in terms of editing softwares ... you have the basic selection editing, title options and some rough transition features, but other than that, it's really for beginners. If you're looking for an editing program with some panache, try Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere. I suggest Sony Vegas, it's a very efficient program that gives you professional-looking results.
As for the video itself ... amazing! The editing is superb, as are the transitions. I must ask, Where did you get the music? It really adds to the video. Was it selected from something or originally composed? Either way, great selection there. The "zoom" also reminded me of "Firefly" and how the camera would "zoom" in space during dogfights. I also liked how while you still used that feature you could still properly see the battle, unlike some where the editor feels it necessary to bring you up so close to the action that you can barely see what's going on.
Anyway, look forward to seeing more of these!
