I trade Boron to Gran Canaria, do a few missions in O49, harvest some more NPC on the way to Dublin, buy gold-ore from the miners and sell it at Detroit munitions.

Then I instantly go to Connecticut and spend it all in fighting.

This way all my transports can support themselves.
