Then again, they'll each have their own uses.
That.
Though, I would need new pants if I heard that Tundra was upgrading into a nom nom LABC.
Usually in this mod, if players are of sufficient and equal skill, it seems that the lighter ship has a greater chance at winning. Of course, I have no factual basis for saying this but it seems to be a feeling.
:/ Seeing an Aoi Isejin Nom Nom ku VHFGunboat take on a blood dragon cruiser by itself hasn't colored my opinion at all.
Generally though, 1v1, an LABC can easily overpower an LSC if the LABC makes full use of strafing and missiles.
I often change it around... sometimes a missile loadout, but atm.. I have 2 BS cerbs, 3x Light Mortars and the rest Solaris turrets.
Basically specializing in anti-cap... I have successfully "kited" enemy battleships before, and so long as I keep my distance, I can actually take one out solo. (Not easy though and it takes a long time)
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust
If the LABC gets a thruster, even a slow one, they better be buffing up the Seige Cruiser's main gun something fierce or it's going to become pretty useless. Currently the LABC only has an advantage over the LSC in 1v1 combat against other Cruisers. But it is inferior for killing Gunboats, who can solo an LABC with the right loadout and a smart enough pilot. Two LABCs would also be hard pressed to kill a Battleship, while two LSC can do it easily if they hold their distances. A thruster on the LABC could potentially make it so the LABC can solo Battleships and take on multiple Cruisers by itself.
But who knows, it's just a prediction, we'll have to wait and see. After all, some Battlecruisers already have thrusters and they're not rediculously OP.
