' Wrote:Yeah, and Human biology in comparison to Nomad biology is like comparing a 2D square to a 3D shape with hundreds of points to it.
There may be a point where Nomads cannot adapt to infect people, but may be thousands of years into the future.
For now, the Nomads main advantage is the fact they're more advanced than humanity. The incubi was designed to be compatible, and they could just make another type to be compatible with the new changes.
Doubtful, the Nomads will have the upperhand on biological matters for another few centuries at least. Nomad genetics aren't solid, that's the idea.
The incubi is unlike the "True Nomad" biology, it's the connection of consciousness that makes them Nomad.
Well, consider that it was -our- fast adaptation that lead us to where we are now.
I think you give humanity less credit than is due.
And I didn't mean humanity as a whole was uninfectable (though it could happen), I was speaking a few select abnormalities.

A lot of it is interpretation though, and there are different situtations. Plus the Nomad Lore is daunting, go read it again perhaps. I re-read it today and it's still always fascinating.

Yeah, but that's social development, not biological. Biologically, human evolution is really slow in comparison to the Nomads.
And the Nomads were greated by a race powerful enough to engineer a race of beings. Humanity grew naturally from primitive animals.
' Wrote:Again, the wars were the doing of mankind, the Nomads didn't cause that. Even without the Nomads, mankind is still warring with each other. 90% of factions are doing it.
And no, the Nomads didn't want to destroy even 10% of humans, let alone 80%. You're believing the Order point of view as if it's fact.

what about our jump from stupidity to sapience? That's pretty physical.
NINJAAA!!: Don't get me wrong, I like to play a Wild, but I still think the Nomads have a lot of fancy backstory while ignoring the fundamental issues. And then everyone says "This is Sci-Fi'. Lol, funny.

The Nomads are just a highly mysterious group.
No one knows their intentions, goals, motives. It's unknown how they came about, or why they exist. They're everything that is alien and scary to mankind, as they're so mysterious and confusing.
They're like the 'Strong, Silent Type', by saying nothing at all, they're strong and imposing.
I've never played through the singleplayer, I started but it was ruined from the beginning by the fact that I already know who the Order and Nomads are.

Funny fact: The Order have the only two black people in Sirius, but are also ironically the most racist vanilla faction.
you know this started about trent and now were talking about nomads. Hmmm I should really start at topic about nomads
