Okay, here are the comparison sheets (due to probable size issues, I provide the pictures in links, 56k users be warned). The models are viewed in wireframes and the respective names of the ships are written near their wireframe model:

@chopper: There is the quote function at the bottom right of every post. Might want to check out.;)
EDIT: I just noticed you didn't post in here, AoM. Don't want to give me the seal of approval on this one?:P
Looks great, but what about making the bottom two fins about 2/3 the size they are now. They look a bit too big on the bottom. and increase the angle of the rudder-vators both top and bottom. maybe 5-10 degrees closer to vertical.
Overall though, a large improvement over the Preg-eagle.
another suggestion......try to maintain the zoner tail design of the eagle on the top. The split tail looks awesome. But for the sake of humoring me, try forward swept top tail like the eagle.
I wouldnt mind seeing a bird of prey like name too.....instead of ROC.
Just imagined......Okay that tail would look real stupid,,,, ignore me......
Very nice. I guess I'll keep waiting off buying the Civ bomber to replace my Rheinland bomber (yes AW did have an RP for that, and in the interest of RP, we limited the number to two). I was particularly hesitant to buy a ship that looked like it would give birth to a couple Hawks at any time..
I think the very first one was actually the best though. Second wasn't half bad.. This last one doesn't compare to the first and second for me though..
Actually, I wanted to put more time into the ship. Who knows, I may have only wasted 30 min on that Eagle, but without any fine tuning. Maybe I'll stick with the last one, it appeals most to me now...
Maybe I'll even put the front wings on again... No, with the current top fin design it won't go well...
Hmmm, it is only slightly bigger then the eagle.
With that size, i wouldn't give it agility above 1.0.
Simply because Taiidan is pretty close to that size, and it has 0.95 or smtn.
You can give it more agility, but then it should be a bigger target.
As for the model, i must say i am impressed.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
Try split top fin a different way.
Make two tails....move them away from each other like the F-14.....may be F-22 raptor Make sure they are forward swept like the eagles tail.
Then tilt em 5 to 10 degrees off of the vertical. Not 35 or 40degrees like you did...
I wanna see how it looks .
Basically a Bigger Eagle with Twin tails....that slight move away from each other as they move away from fusalage...
@pipsqueak - The Roc is a bird of prey, albeit a mythological one.
Roc :- in Arabian mythology, an enormous bird, reputedly so powerful that it could carry elephants and other large creatures to its nest, where it devoured them. The roc appears in one of the adventures of Sindbad the Sailor in the compilation of tales known in English as the Arabian Nights. The overall framework for these stories is their narration by the legendary Queen Scheherazade as a nightly entertainment for her husband, by which means she distracts him from his plot to kill her once their marriage is consummated. The tales originate from a variety of sources, including Persian, Indian, and Arabic sources, and the Sindbad stories date back to the 9th century AD. On one trading voyage, after falling asleep on the island home of the roc, Sindbad awakens to find himself deserted by his companions. He discovers a massive egg in the roc's nest and hides beside it; when the bird returns to its nest, Sindbad ties himself with his turban to one of its legs. The next day Sindbad is carried away from the island when the roc takes flight in search of prey. The roc is also mentioned by 13th-century Venetian traveler and author Marco Polo in a description of the island of Madagascar, in the Indian Ocean, and the East African islands.
Edit: That's a damn fine ship you've made there, rdy.
