Now THAT is a good faction proposal, and has my full approval as the leader of the 66th Outcast Fighter Wing, and if it doesn't get approved I will be astonished. Good work, boys.

Kudos all round.
I'd just like to say how maturely you (Simsonator) and Ors have conducted yourself through this.
It also reflects well on the community in general.
It shows that the community does not resist change just for the sake of it.
What you have ended up with is 100 times better for all concerned than the orignal proposal.
(The irony is that the actual PVP game play may not differ that much to what you origianlly had in mind... you've just got a much clearer basis for RP).
That we've got here gives hope to everyone who has a proposal idea and shows that they should not get discouraged if they get initially negative feedback.
If there is any twiggle to be made here, it's your base of operations.
There are a -lot- of other Hessian bases to take on. You don't always have to be Rheinland based in order to be a Hessian. They're at war with the Corsairs as well, after all. You could base in Omega 11, Omega 47, Omega 5... It would be nice to see someone take up the mantle of the other side of the conflict for once. Rheinland is a good target, sure, but you've got others too.
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
I'd like to see a squadron based out of Casablanca, personally. It's such a lovely system, and there are fights to be had with the dirty, nasty Corsairs in 41, 5 and 49. Heck, the 66th might just help assault some of those territories, since direct action against Malta has slowed recently.

Ors, you may have missed the point of Kane's post ... That was a suggestion to be considered please.
What we don't actually need is two factions with exactly the same affiliation, exactly the same goals,
hanging around exactly the same piece of space from exactly the same base ...
Get where we're coming from here ? ... Flexibility is the name of the game sir.
