Simply put as soon as we complained and the Liberty folks thought it was a reasonable complaint, and so did the Brets by all accounts, a defamation law became concrete inRP. Now you won n Bretonia, you lost in Liberty. Yes the second fine is high, 3 billion is a lot, I'll concede knjaz's point on that one.
But what you are asking for is full legal systems or no laws at all. We need basic laws, and the skeleton system we have now, but to ask for more is asking people for the impossible. We're rolpelayers, even Reptile, who proclaims lawyerdom couldn't do it.
You can't simply demand that Liberty creates a loophole for you to slide out of. It's not right. And to ignore the inrp consequences of your own actions is also powergaming, it must be said.
Oh I'll admit I'm erring on the side of the IND. Especially now that Linkus has said he's erring on the side of the CR. That's to be expected. So long as everyone understands that both arguments are biased, they can sort the details out for themselves.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.

Grand, nought to do with the topic at hand though.
Those smuggling laws are at least somewhat written on the forums, though there is always some grey area as there should be.
There's no commercial law, no slander law, no defenses or anything that could be of benefit.
Court cases rely entirely on the word of the law.
There is no word of the law except that made up as we go along.
If you really want to work it that way, I can.
I'll submit a plea to the international court of commerce.
Does it exist?
Who knows.

Now, on to the next item. Isn't it popular belief that when people rp through the forums, it does have some validity?
what about all the trade negotiations, treaties and what not? I am not talking about the IND here.
How about the recent events with the zoners and corsairs?
You mean to say that none of it is valid?
so then, this post from the CR's a while ago is also not valid..
If that is the case, then nothing that anyone here has posted is valid. INCLUDING anything the CR's has done.
This is a role playing game. the forums are an extension of that. If everyone went around saying everything is faked, what use would this all have? The answer would be none.
You were wrong. and the thing is, if you all would've just said we made a mistake none of this would be happening.
last comment. Every rp occurence can have rp reprucussions.
I'm not asking for a complete law system.
I'm asking for court cases based on this imaginary law system to not happen.
They are quite simply stupid.
We are attempting to play out something incredibly powerful and vastly more complicated than we can sufficiently represent and yet are dumbing it down.
You can't dumb down something that powerful, it's simply unfair to those who aren't on the high chair.
We're fining people 3 billion credits for something that we write less about than the balancing of a single gun.
How can you call that fair?

That's asking for a complete law system, since you dont want it to be dumbed down. Yet we cannot create something that isn't dumbed down, because we lack the manpower. The expertise on the other hand, I could find in some books in a library.
