Based on what you said and my experience flying some of them, like the Centurion, I suggest:
1. Slightly increase HFs agility, but must not better than that of LFs
(the Eagle is a bit more agile than the Centurion, even though it has more firepower and better core, that's non sense)
2. Get the 9500/950 power core for HFs then, they deserve that
the rest is fine, especially the size and shape, and weapons just leave them there.

All fighters' agility should be revised to be more balanced. VHFs can NOT be easier handling than HFs, unless they got less firepower or less armor.
