Well, a Starflea would work... As parents' birthday present O.o

At 16 I could maybe understand a starflea, but there is no reason a kid younger than that would get much bigger. Think getting a car for your 16th birthday, it's not massively unrealistic, but getting a 16-wheeler for your 15th? Nah...

We're trying to simulate something here, that's what role-play is, right? Well, seriously, different times or not, kids of 13-15 are still not mature enough to drive a car or fly a ship. In my opinion, most 16 year old's aren't mature enough to drive, but that's neither here nor there.
Case and point... nah...

Exactly since I'm still ragish about that cuz I don't follow "end justifies the means" when parenting, either seen as "deserved" or "not":angry2:, it makes me mad
Also I hate RM cuz they're like that

' Wrote:On-topic though: Why's 13/15 year old flying a ship, not to criticise your RP, I daresay it could be RP'd well and with a good reason, but a 13yo trader? How many 13 year old's are mature enough to drive a lorry, along pirate-free roads, let alone a space-lorry along dangerous trade lanes?

The one I have doesn't do much, he just follows a staight line with an electronic driven transport and that is, if random pirate appears, do what you learnt from videogames;)

' Wrote:A fast tip, I didn't read it all...

Act wondered with EVERY ship you see, with every station, planet, cloud, DEBRIE you see...
A kid has never been before into open space, right?

Works, probably.

Could it work if I make him a bit like Ahmad from leet world? Like seeing anything would make him go "AWESOME"

' Wrote:Is it a fleet admiral?

Nope, it's a Videogame player that loves using missile launchers in them:laugh:

Not trying to start a fight here, but you /should/ see those 15 year olds' behavior and dictionary in this millenium, as well as some other skills, so I don't see why a 15-y.o. shouldn't fly around...

In my country for example, you need to be 18 or above to get a driving license and be able to drive

Different countries, different rules...I think this could apply here also

Different systems/houses/factions, Different age limits for ship piloting

Berserk Button? Me? You bet! Nothing annoys me more than people telling me that the way people have brought up their kids for the vast majority of human existence is wrong, and that the social collapse we're experiencing by disobedient youths could possibly be solved by moving further and further from tried and tested method that didn't produce such rampant rebels. Heh, I bet you anything that 100 years ago, kids actually respected their elders, and I also bet you they'de have been smacked once or twice. Ends and means here, the current end is youths who are nothing but scum, a blight on a once-decent race, and the means is molly-coddling them in their up-bringing.

13 years old is trader but job is simple for him after getting told "this wayu makes money" and later "This way makes more money"
and 15 years old is actually my main flying a missile-fitted Wasupu and many other gadgets his trader brother helped to get.

While most countries are either 18 or 16, I believe, possibly incorrectly, that 16 is the lowest age... My personal opinion is that 18 should be the minimum though...
