I liked the part where we help the Outcasts win the war against the Corsairs and then nuke Malta and wait for them to all die of Cardamine withdrawal.:)

IMG performs a hostile takeover of BMM when Bretonia is destroyed. After the Coalition begins their offensive, IMG reveals that they are in fact a branch of the Coalition that has been supplying materials to the revolutionaries for quite some time.

I just have to wonder why were natural laws rewritten and humanity's cannon completely negated to give the french a win in such an utterly fail manner.
The problem with troubleshooting is that real trouble shoots back.
Bretonia is pushed into the Omegas by Gallia, Rheinland and Liberty sign a peace treaty.
Bretonia and Gallia sign a peace deal, much like Vichy France. Or they avoid Gallia if possible. De facto truce.
Gallia positions forces on the border with Liberty, preparing to launch an invasion whilst hammering their trade routes.
Bretonia and Rheinland turn their full attention to the Omegas and the now Corsair aligned SCRA.
Omega-52 is a good system to have, as shown by the industrial/military prowess of the SCRA. Sitting in a strategic location and near house interests, it's a good prospect.
Bretonia, desperate for land and resources to rebuild their strength, launch an all out invasion whilst Rheinland plows a good chunk of its forces into Omega-5, in preparation for pushing straight to Gamma if possible.
The Corsairs have meanwhile suffered a blow in their ambitions to invade Bretonia and instead turned their attention to the Sigmas and Rheinland.
Corsair forces begin a sustained campaign of weakening Rheinland's hold in Frankfurt, taking advantage of the weakened state and its diverted forces.
Soon, the Corsairs manage to establish a proper hold in Frankfurt, with trade to Munich being effectively cut off and the system under blockade.
The push of Rheinland forces into Omega-5 didn't hurt as much as it could've as the Corsairs were effectively losing the system to the Hessians bit by bit, as the Corsair military was preparing for a Bretonian invasion via Omega-49.
The Corsairs lose their hold in Omega-5 to Rheinland and now Gamma is at risk of a hard strike by the RM.
During all this, the Hessians have been working with other unlawful rheinlanders and strike hard into Dresden. The stations under corporate control are either seized or destroyed as the Military finds itself outnumbered and with a Command that is not too eager to waste forces on a mostly exhausted system.
Tactical withdrawals are the order of the day, with the military respectfully bowing out of the system.
The re-focus of the Rheinland military posed major problems for the Hessians, alongside the recent change of the SCRA to Corsair friendly.
Ambitions for an Omega empire seem quashed as Bretonia pushes further and Rheinland dedicates a large part of its military to finally solving the Corsair problem.
The battle for Omega-5 was fierce, with the Rheinland military suffering deep losses as the Hessians gave a fighting retreat, utilising their years of experience in the system and the relative inexperience of the RM pilots in such an environment.
Eventually, Rheinland took control of the system and Hessian forces all over the Omegas found their supply lines stretched thin. They are not cut off however, there's always a way around for groups like the Hessians.
The Mollys have suffered at the hands of Gallia. With Bretonia pushed back, the Gallic war machine needed feeding for their next conquest, Liberty.
Dublin, with its vast stockpiles of gold, was a natural target. Utilising the same tactics used to root out hidden Council installations, the GRN destroy Arranmore. As with Omega-5, fierce defence by the Mollys ensured a large toll was paid in Gallic lives.
With Arranmore destroyed and the Mollys scattered from Dublin, the Gallic Police are left to deal with any pirate raids, ignoring the possibility of a large Molly assault.
With their core foothold in Bretonia lost and their command scattered, the Mollys face possible destruction.
With this in mind, they turn their attention to the next possible threat, the Corsairs.
BAF forces retreating from the GRN onslaught already plowed through Omega-49, inflicting severe losses on the unsuspecting Corsair forces in the system. The Corsairs retreated to Omega-47 and took a defensive stance.
The Mollys now look towards Omega-49 as a possible refuge and place to rebuild. However they must face the possibility of a future Corsair assault that could destroy anything they try build.
The situation in 4.87 is dire for a number of factions and many face possible destruction or loss of their ancestral homes.
Bretonia has been pushed into the Omegas, with Cambridge the remaining core system. Omega-3, Omega-49 and Omega-50 have all become new homes for millions of Bretonian citizens.
With their main supply of MOX cut off, the house was forced to seize what they could in the Omegas, even going so far as invading Omega-52 for their H-Fuel supplies.
A wrecked house with a population either under foreign occupation or strewn across wild and dangerous systems, Bretonia has never faced such a struggle.
Rheinland has collapsed. The loss of Dresden, Frankfurt and Munich brought the federal government to its knees. Unfair peace terms with Liberty, endebting the state to Libertonian corporations for generations to come resulting in widespread civil unrest. The desperate thrust of the Military into the Omegas and their consequential lack of progress, whilst half the House remained either blockaded or lost to pirates, only served to fan the flames of revolution. Within weeks, the government failed after the ruling coalition fell apart.
With the Military weak, the Police largely sympathetic to the revolutionaries and pirates seizing control of sovereign space, it was only a matter of time before the people seized control.
The Federal state collapses, leaving each system and their people alone to face threats.
Stuttgart was the first to rise up in arms, with the population overthrowing their Synth Food employers, much to the delight of the LWB. The massive debts incurred by the Rheinland state and owed to Liberty acted as both a catalyst and a reminder of what had happened only a century ago on the planet.
Now each system sits alone, with the remnants of the Military being pulled back to New Berlin as the remnants of the state tries to salvage what it can.
