*haven't seen him lately... must admit I was busy last few days*
...and yeah, my financial reserves are down to the ground :(
I'd like to ask the admins for a donation 150-200 mil to get the ball rolling on this RP thing (if it's not much of an annoyance) to the [IND]Independence char I'll be creating shortly after this post. (Thank You! :) )
And in connection to this, how can I send announcements through the console so everyone on the server can see them? The idea is like this: the Independence appears online, announces: "High demand for *something* in *somewhere at some station* supplies are low, all traders, please respond! The *something* will be bought by the Independence at *some high price*" or "Surplus of *something*..." and so on.
I know it will be a constant loss of money, but it's something the game lacks and this would introduce some factor of reality to trading. Of course, The Independence will be on for a limited time period or until it runs out of money or something. Imagine... a trader sees the announcement, hurries to catch the moment and a good trade.
I think this might get more of the roleplay since the only thing we have roleplaying is the wars and the AW hunting the phantoms (largely done) and on a small scale - I've seen some A-MAG and a few freelancers last night hunting nomads at yaren with all of the roleplay stuff like radio chatter, problems with nomads getting inside their ships and similar stuff. I joined for a few minutes and all I have to say is "I enjoyed guys, keep up the good work! Great!". Anyone should try the A-MAG guy has an immagination and Dab's ability to type while he flies and fights :D , and he kept gezza busy with more constructive things than planetdiving  . We need more of similar things.
*sorry 4 the huge post, but it's something that had 2 b said*
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. I'm around... it's just it was my birthday on the weekend.. so didn't log in at all, and been a busy week at work too.
About the UGT.. as far as i know we are still around.. but with all members (apart from me) only trading.... it's not supirsing you don't see them on everyday.
About your trading idea... AWESOME.. that sounds great and all, but I can't really help still after the next weekend.. will be too busy till next week. In terms of the RP ideas I can't see anything wrong with them at the moment... I say lets chat with some of the big names on the server (igiss, wolfpack, angel, korrd ect) and see how they view it.. and if and how they can help.
Gona need some solid ground to launch this from mate.. make sure you have that first.
