Did a long patrol tonight. Started off in California, and instantly hit trouble. A Rogue Barghest was making ruckus on the usual California pirate hotspot. However, it made the mistake of trying to stick around. It went down pretty quick. I continued on and found some sort of Brigand Gallic Transport. I sent it out of Liberty though. Same could be said to some Sabre with Krakens. After a while, Fleet Admiral Hale and Commodore Robinson took over and continued the patrol. We soon found an Outcast Tridente, that we destroyed after it fired on me. After getting reports of pirate activity in Colorado, we moved there, and encountered a Lane Hacker Bayonet that silently opened fire on Robinson, however we quickly disposed of it. After finding the pirates in Colorado, The Cape Horn, and Robinson and I got separated. However, the Cape Horn managed to take down the Barghest and Pirate Transport. We moved to California, and then Magellan, looking for reported criminals. However, they fled via an unknown Jump Hole. We did end up finding their Lane Hacker Sabre, which Robinson had me fire on. It was quickly dispatched. We then finished our patrol by searching Texas. And we found some Red Hessian Cruiser, and a Freelancer that was shooting us. Both fell quickly to combined fighter fire from Robinson and Ensign Vintar. We also took down a Xeno that felt like annoying us. With that finished, we signed off. However I did come back to move to Manhattan briefly. And found a Rogue Sabre, and a Outcast Sabre, with several LPI and Secondary Fleet pilots shooting them. Since they were making no headway, I took over and took down the Outcast Sabre. Soon after the Rogue showed up, and I dispatched him as well. I finally signed off for the evening on Manhattan. Guncam Footage unavailable.

This is a report of a patrol from a few days ago. Myself, Lieutenant Commander Ashfield and Ensign Luis Ramirez went out on a patrol, searching for reported Indians. We found them at the Bering gate, pirating a civilian transport. Ashfield had technical troubles of sorts, but luckily a mercenary came and assisted, and a battle soon ensued. The indians quickly lost one of their fighters. They soon started to scatter, with the Mercenary following three, and myself follow another. The one is question ran to Puerto Rico, and continued to do so until I gave up and headed to Bering to assist the mercenary and another officer that had arrived. The merc quickly dispatched one, and the rest started to commit suicide by flying into the sun. After that, though, a Rheinland SHF Decided to take a shot at us, however is was destroyed. We managed to take no losses, and put a stop to Indian pirating for the day.
I was patrolling New York when from an anonymous transmission I reported to Fort Bush to find a Nomad vessel doing flybys of the Baltimore shipyards. I had never seen a vessel move so fast.
I was the only LN nearby, and I warned the vessel off. The regs say to be careful when confronting a Nomad vessel, but it did leave the area, but not the system. I returned to my patrol, and the Nomad fighter ghosted me throughout the system. I was unable to outrun it, but could keep it at a distance by using my cruise engines.
The Nomad vessel did try to attach itself to my hull, and it was at that point that I turned and engaged it.
I am a rookie... but I graduated near the top of my class at the acadamy and been involved in a few engagements, but never in my life have I felt so helpless. The Nomad's turning radius was far beyond what my ship could accomplish and it flew rings around me. Using sliding tactics, pulsing afterburners, rapid vector changes I was barely able to keep my ship in one piece, only being able to get a few shots off. It's weapons shredded my shields with little effort and I had to concentrate on staying alive.
I broke and ran for Manhatten, hoping to find some assistance, and the Nomad vessel let me go. I could feel it clawing around in my mind. But I shut it out as best I could.
I docked my ship and got some repairs done as quickly as I could to try and rally more support to take on the vessel... there was no way I could tackle it alone.
I saw it ghosting my sensors for another hour as it flitted around the system attacking traders, but letting them live. I was unable to catch it again.
This encounter marked my 23rd hour of operating as a recruit in the Liberty Navy. I would again request transfer to primary fleet.
The operation which launched at about 0:00 was a success.
For those who wern't in the loop.
At 0:00 today 2 LNS vessles, LNS-Dark-Angel and the LNS-Avar, were tasked with heading over to the Planet Hamburg with only 1 instruction. Make as much noise as possible and try to draw RM forces away from any areas which could be of interest to us.
Mine was also just as straight forward. With my VHF, sneek behind the RM front line, find where the running RM ships were mainly coming from and log any jump holes or gates they use to get to Hamburg.
Unfortunatly both of the vessles involved in the distraction were heavily damaged. However I have successfully mapped a few key locations in both Hamburg and Bremen. Both files of which have been attached to this transmission. Hopefully if other commanders and captains can log a few of these locations then we can use them to flank or simply bypass hostile forces.
Also anouther key factor. It appears in taking the Westfalen we inadvertantly cut off the Bremen system from Rheinland. I'm sure with enough pressure the RM Battleship Westphalia may find itself unable to effectivly defend itself.
Also on note. I am still hidden behind enemy lines and the RM don't seem to be aware of my location. If you want/need me to survey any other areas in RM territory I'm sure anouther "Distraction" can be arranged.
Whilst coming from California, I stumbled upon an Outcast fighting a Police Officer. I asked the Officer if he wanted help to which he replied "yes" and I opened fire.
As if it wasn't enough, the officer called for gunboat assistance; however, with its help we were able to remove the threat.
[font=Times New Roman]Surveillance Report
This sighting was recorded by the Douglas' scanners forwarded to me by my subordinate. The ship was designated as "Royal Navy", which surprised me upon seeing the photos. It seems Gallia is sending reconnaissance ships at our House.
The ship reportedly destroyed two transport belonging to Cryer and DSE respectively in its hurried escape towards California. We weren't able to send any ships after it.
Contraband Report
On my way to dock at Manhattan, I spotted some commotion near the docking port that involved a Junker. Some "rookies" were pressing the Junker to "drop the cargo". I flip my scanners on and began to see what was in her hold.
Bingo, I found seven of our pilots and three nomads inside of her. The Junker initially refused to give up the precious blue squids but with ample persuasion, she finally gave up. The contraband was returned to port.

Report Overview: Patrol, Rouge encounter and termination, termination of alien threat (2).
Greetings, second day, first report.
Getting ready on my newly outfitted Executioner Heavy Fighter, I started my patrol at the Norfolk Shipyard and checked the following route: Norfolk Shipyard->Texas JG->Planet Houston->Hudson JG
At the Hudson Gate I stumbled upon a single Transport belonging to a Freelancer, who tried to smuggle Luxury Consumer Goods into Rheinland space. After a rather long discussion in the Hudson system I convinced him to return to Texas and leave his goods at Planet Houston.
Then I went back to New York and continued my patrol as follows: Norfolk Shipyard->West Point Military Academy->California JG->New York Jumpgate ( in Cali. ).
I found a lone Rouge in a Bactrian Freighter, who was just about to pirate a freighter. After the Rouge didn't comply paying a fine and leaving the area, I opened fire and got his pod just after he sent a docking signal to alcatraz after a very long chase: <link>
I couldn't believe my eyes, when I saw that little jelly flying beside me. I was well aware, that that particular Nomad might be a threat later and I made sure it will not leave the system alive. I chased him down through half the system and left him no choice, but to dive in the hot Californian sun: <link><link>
Back in New York, at the West Point Military Academy to be exact, I had an encouter with what you might call a matured nomad of some kind. Following the unofficial motto of the Navy, I put all my courage together and faced the alien alone. The vessel of the enemy was superior in maneuverability and firepower, but I was able to hold my ship in one piece. The battle drawed a lot of attention and although I tried to tell all non-navy ships to keep distance, but nobody listened. After maybe half an hour the nomad flew into the badlands and tryed to kill me there. For unknown causes, he ceased his fire abruptly and started his what might be called engines and flew deeper into the badlands. I didn't bother chasing him anymore as he was seemingly about to leave the system and liberty space, a sucsess I say. <link><link>
Exhausted and with a ship, that barely held together I called it a day and ended my 'patrol'.
