Service Hours for review.
I have learned much in my time in the Liberty Navy, Many thanks to the officers that have taken me under their wing!
I've now reached the point where I know that I have a LONG way to go to be the serviceman that I should be. I look forward for more opportunities to learn.

I uh.
Making an offical report that I have requested and had my service status changed from reserve to active.
Should I talk about-
Anyways, I *cough* was rushed right into the action again. It seems a bunch of rogues got caught near the Colorado gate. Big ol' brawl happened. Before I got there, I heard they had a couple've Scylla class warships. Once on the scene it was mostly just cleanup. I don't think we lost many pilots, which I'm thankful for. Acting commander was Underwood, I think? Sounds about right. Most of the fighting happened in Colorado. I uh. Yeah I'm not really good at thes-
So It started with myself and a LPI finding a pirate. We started to take it on, but the... Hellfire? Yeah. They came and started to wreck us, so we retreated and called for backup.
The next fight was scary. They had a Destroyer class vessel, the pirate in a Gunboat class I mentioned earlier, and a spattering of fighters. We had about the same, so we engaged. We were winning at first, taking out the pirate and the Destroyer. Heck, even I got a *cough* a kill!
Sadly, our combat ability wasn't as good as theirs. We started to drop, including myself. Never again do I want to be ejected out into space from a burning fighter. It's really cold-
Anyways, we got a good number of them, but had to fall back. I believe they fell back as well, so there wasn't any issues afterwards.

Another engagement. This time I took out some Asco with the help of other pilots.

COMM ID:CPT MCCOY, Jason - Officer Commanding, NORFOLK SHIPYARD TARGET ID:1FLT, NAVYCOM SUBJECT:CSV SAVO ISLAND ENCRYPTION:MEDIUM PRIORITY:MEDIUM
To all First Fleet Forces:
It is my solemn duty to inform you that at 0200 Universal Time, the service freighter Savo Island was heavily damaged in a Xeno assault on a patrol led by Admiral Teerin in Pennsylvania. Despite holding off its attackers valiantly, its reactor was damaged, and the resulting leak and explosion detonated the engine pod, resulting in cross-ship fires and severe injuries to most of the crew. By the time reinforcements were able to rescue the vessel, it had been gutted and on the verge of collapse. The deft handiwork of Lieutenant Commander Harrison and the White Mage saved the ship from complete destruction, but unfortunately, they were not able to prevent the loss of the ship's crew.
1LTJames Bradford, LTJGHeinrich Gunnison, ENSSean Jacobs, ENSPatrick Holland, and CDTClara Daniels were regrettably killed in action est. 0200 HRS UT, by Xeno aggressors. Funeral arrangements are being made on their respective home planets of Manhattan, California Minor, Pittsburgh, Denver, and Edmonton.
We are...thankful, at least, to report that the ship's commanding officer, CDRJohn Graham, was able to survive the incident - albeit with major injuries - and is currently being treated at Michael J. Roberts Medical Center in New Charlotte, Manhattan. He is in critical condition, but is expected to make a full recovery - we ask those within his squadron to pay their respects, when possible.
Remember this, gentlemen. Remember the lengths these scoundrels and neanderthals will go to in order to achieve their greedy and selfish goals. Remember this, and channel it into a productive energy.

Post-Action Report, 23 Feb 822 AS
We received word of a massive Outcast Capital fleet, consisting of 5 heavy capital vessels heading into Liberty through Kepler. Immediately a large task force, consisting of several capital vessels and plenty of bomber strike craft, was organized in order to counter the threat.
My the time this task force was mobilized, the enemy fleet had broken into Colorado. In response to that our vessels performed a blockade on the Colorado Gate and sent scouts on the other side. After it was reported that they changed course to and had reached Ontario, our task force proceeded into the California System, and therefore blocking any chance for them to reach the New York system. Afterwards targets were spotted moving into the Cortez system.
Upon arriving there, these ships were maintaining some weird formation and shortly afterwards they charged on us with all they had. Yet after an intense fight with our capital vessels, and the assistance from the bomber crafts, the enemy fleet was defeated, all remaining were two rogue gunboats, that managed to flee.

On another notice I received a report about a navy ship having not reported back to base and supposedly gone missing. I managed to dig some information from the archive and this is what I came up with:
Quote:LNS-Venturous - Medium gunboat - CO: Nick Howland
The commanding officer, Captain Nick Howland, had originally enlisted
into Naval infantry corps and only after 8 years of services, and numerous requests was
transferred to flight operations as senior deckman.
Only after 6 years of continued service, he got in command of the LNS-Ventrurous and held this position untill now.
The ship's last signal was received from the Coronado system and yet the fate of crew and ship is unknown.
Once I gather more information on this matter, I will report it at once.

COMM ID:Cadet Christopher Rowe TARGET ID:First Fleet Reporting Center SUBJECT:Patrols - 10-03-822 ENCRYPTION: Standart PRIORITY:Low
This is Cadet Rowe, reporting my first patrols in the Primary Fleet.
With the reports of a massive gathering of criminal forces in New York and California, I've scrambled from my post in West Point. Soon, on the lanes from Manhattan to Fort Bush, I've come accross two criminals cutting the lanes.
The criminals refused my repeated commands to disable their weapons and cut their engines to zero. Not only that, one of them even started to indecently expose herself.
Not impressed, I've decided to forcefully remove their threat on the lanes from existence. With the help of a mercenary who was in the scene as well, the engagement started, soon to end in victory. I've allowed the mercenary to reap the rewards for her valuable help.
Afterwards, Admiral Rohj Teerin took me on a tour beyond Texas. I was informed of the current battlegrounds and our frontier systems as well as the embargo on Rheinland. It was my first time flying through many of those systems, including Hamburg, New Hampshire and Alaska.
Once our flight was over by Missouri, I was bumped by something invisible and buzzing. I immediately knew that it was a cloaking ship and I informed the naval pilots in close proximity of its existence.
Not only it refused my commands to disengage its cloaking device, I was even threatened by its pilot and was told to crush a can on my head, which I, of course, did not do. Once it was out of batteries and out of cloak, with the help of a secondary fleet core pilot we caught it.
The caught pilot started to threaten again, told us that he'd call his friends unless we crush a can on our heads. Of course we would have no idea what kind of friends these would be. But immediately a fleet of battleship sized nomads appeared and started to shoot us from all directions. One of their cannons spat on my shield and another was a close call.
I counted at least 10 nomads there, but I had promised Admiral Teerin sir that I'd not be afraid of the nomads next time we meet them, so I infomed the unknown gunship that the Liberty Navy would not give up no matter what. While we were dodging purple cannon fire and trying to gather up our forces, we were told to bring a can to crush on our heads next time... Immediately the nomad battleships and the unknown gunship disappeared from our sight.
Before we had enough time to try to make sense of this, there were renewed reports of another gathering of ragtag pirates and criminals in New York. I could isolate one of the outcasts of that group and could engage in a one on one fight... It was very close but it was my ship that gave up first in the end.
COMM ID:Commander Hélène Dupuis TARGET ID:Liberty Naval Primary Fleet High Command SUBJECT:Spire problems ENCRYPTION:High PRIORITY:High
To the Admiralty and High Command,
What was so far a simple patrol without any major incidents ended on a surprising high note. Taking a shortcut through the debris field in Texas to take the jumphole anomaly back to New York, the LNS Quebec spotted the following event:
The implications here are upsetting to say the least. The Spire, recorded as a Premium scrap depot in our registries, seems to service transport class vessels owned by the Liberty Rogues. Both vessels were too far away from Beaumont to simply dock there (which in itself would've been another problem entirely). While the feed provided does not show the contents of their cargo, I am ready to testify that I have witnessed their holds to be full of Premium scrap, salvages that we know are prized by criminal groups such as the Outcasts and the Rogues themselves in the production of their heavier structures, such as bases or capital vessels.
Do what you wish of this information, High Command.
COMM ID:Lieutenant Chris Elias TARGET ID:Navy Command SUBJECT:Legion problem ENCRYPTION:Medium PRIORITY:Medium
*Puts out his smoke in the ashtray.. Chris looks angry. Also, his shoulder has seen some medical attention, the beautiful Navy uniform has been torn on the top of his shoulder and there are traces of blood around the wound, but the wound itself is covered with medical gauze. (//google translate)
Damn... I lost my upholder... It is gone, shot by our own tech! *coughs, takes a deep breath* Allright, lets start from the beginning.
I was on routine California patrol when I noticed a bunch of hostiles near the New York gate. When I went closer, I immediately was greeted by an Outcast battleship, a Rogue Greyhound , Rogue Scylla, Freelancer Eagle and what appeared to be a Legionnaire Defiant wearing a callsign I knew from before. They were not going to leave. But I was in no position to take them all on. The outcast battleship left, so I was left with a defiant, a scylla and a greyhound against myself. Soon, a BHG| wing came to help and we could begin executing the criminals. But not before I swapped my Guardian to an Upholder. The fight soon broke out between the two forces, with the hacker/rogue scylla managing to take one of ours before going down , at that point the enemy had brang two more ships, from which one was another enemy Defiant (just like the first one, only with cheaper armor plating) and a Roc bomber, wearing a Hacker callsign. The fighting continued for a long time with losses on our side as well as theirs, but the two defiant class ships kept on fighting well.
We had already all done a round of repairs when the Outcast ship came back to our location. Luckily we had an Overlord class ship that was previously standing by not far from us, which took on the Outcast immediately. We kept on trying to shoot the Legion. When the Outcast was done, the Overlord class ship proceeded to attack the gunboats, even after being ordered to stand down <The Overlord> Unsatisifed with my decision to keep the battleship out, one of the bounty hunters disengaged and another one was immediately destroyed, which meant it was now Me, a 5th| Upholder, an LSF guardian and the Overlord against the two legionnaires. One of them was empty and already on fire, when my companion from the 5th| wing was disabled with a precise shot. At that point i stopped caring about the Overlord class ship staying out of the fight. Just a moment later the both boats had gotten me thinking about repairs again, so I approached the lane to Mojave, but the intense fighting and/or quick repairs had led to a controller overheat, which resulted in thrust failure, which in turn made me very vulnerable to the Defiant Solaris'. Damnit, we had to shoot our own ships! When will this be taken care of? *takes deep breath again* Right wing of my Upholder went first, I was lucky to get out of it alive...
