Neat read, but that all goes out the window when you add in jump gates and other forms of near-instantaneous interstellar travel, as those theorems pertain to interstellar trade where transit time between systems can be measured in decades.
EDIT: It's also a fairly elaborate joke if you look into it. Note the author referencing himself... in the future.

This is called "having an opinion" I believe.
It's called "defamation" and it's not something one would want to hear from someone who you expect to be more moderate. I heard talking to the people in charge of the faction, considering that IMG has been quite open to some not-too-radical suggestions, and working out a good solution might do much better than going around pointing fingers and shouting around about how "overpowered someone else is".
Saying everything is one group's fault (while it obviously isn't) has many times led to very bad things happening.
It's not even like IMG|-members haven't tried to make the situation for other mining corps better either, which other faction has tried helping their competition? Suggestions were put forth and all... Some now implemented, some probably never going to happen... But heh. All pointless discussion if one sides put their hands over their ears, closes their eyes and yells as loud as possible.
It's more of an overall tirade about the economy. Just like I left a little snippet in his blog about Manchester selling M0X, and Freeport 4 buying M0X, but only from Rheinland.
It's like buying gasoline from Australia for 2800$ a barrel instead of 400$ a barrel from some refinery in America.
Or they're the exact same thing, and the commodity was just duplicated to make trading more asinine.
Even if Rheinland M0X was top-grade and Bretonian M0X was comparable to regular unleaded gasoline, you're still paying 7 times the normal price for it. It just doesn't make sense from an economy point of view.
