Having been a Disco staff member for awhile I'd like to confirm that it's not the admin's job to be masters of the storylines. It's already a big enough pain in the neck having to deal with rule breakers breaking self invented rules and creating our own situation by pretending an action shooter game is an MMORPG. Their primary job is keeping the server running and stable, deal with hackers and cheaters. Dealing with piss poor behaviour is negative icing on a negative cake. Believe me, in my time as admin and particularly when short staffed I held our primary duty as priority over dealing with nonsense. So when matters like the constant DDOS attacks occured we looked at the whiney violation reports section and tossed it under the carpet and went to real work otherwise the game and community would've ended then and there. So yeah, being asked to become storyline masters and refereeing RP is out of the question. Start paying the admins a salary if you want them to do more and more.
