Disco/Alex taught me C++ through FLHook.
Disco taught me you don't need to know someone in person to make life long friends (or at least very long term).
Disco taught me how to write proper English and what makes a story good to read.
Disco taught me how to laugh at some of the stuff people do and see the lighter side of every situation.
Disco/Alex/Kazinsal/The Dev Team taught me so much about how Freelancer runs and how arbitrary some of the stuff is within this age old game.
Disco taught me how to set myself goals and projects and discipline myself to see them through to the end.
Disco taught me to value the friends you have and keep them close least you risk losing them.
Disco taught me meme culture.
Disco taught me the getting drunk and saying stuff I shouldn't to my internet pals.
Disco taught me good coding practices.
Disco taught me anyone can radically change their behaviour and personality for the better or worse, and how time can change people.
Disco taught me that we all do stupid shit.
Disco/Thunderer taught me the truth about how Croatians and Serbians and why there is conflict between them.
Disco taught me lots about history.
Disco taught me that it's possible to be both a positive and negative influence on the people around you. (Looks at the memelord @Ash)
Disco taught me to be more chill and take things less seriously.
Disco taught me to take pride in what I do and find like minded individuals to join in with my ideas and projects.

He posts a lot of funny stuff too.

Discovery taught me how to not overburden myself with requests of other people.

I should have learnt this.

My english was quite flawed when I showed up here in 2008. Discovery helped me improve it and I will always be grateful for it.

Finally found me in that wall of text.

Disco taught me to only trust germans (Yes, even Char)
Disco taught me that people will think you are a real nazi if you use way to many nazi memes.

Disco taught me that you can forge life lasting friendships going beyond a screen in just a video game

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
