P.S sorry this is getting of topic

I thought I'd keep it with recent encounters. And the last time I fought Jamez was like... 4 months ago..
And I agree with upping the bolt speed on the weaponry. A 2.00 refire gun is still good against a fighter if it has 1400 bolt speed. Chainguns should be kept at a lower speed because they fire alot faster. Making them with so much speed would make them TOO good..

Solaris Chainguns were reduced in refire rate as they received a complete re-do in 4.81 Final.
Chainguns for Cruisers, Destroyers, Dreadnaughts & Battleships fire at 8.33.
Chainguns for Gunboats fire at 10.00 (Was this refire an accident?)
So all in all I think they should get the upped projectile speed on gunboats. They fire alitle over a shot and half extra second than a Corsair turret but have urine-poor accuracy.
Bug Report: Corsair Dreadnaught
The hitbox on this ship is over-sized. This has the effect of ships ramming it when they shouldn't even be touching it. It also becomes far too easy to hit from long range with razors and infernos. And it also has the effect of granting the turrets invincibility.
Back on the gunboat topic. I know it is kinda thread jacking but still, this needs to be fixed:
Holy crap! the ship looks like it has a vrius or something! I think those trurets should have either a smaller size, or the gunboat should be bigger. But thankfully i sold those particular guns and replaced them with something smaller
Maybe a minor thing: there's no Liberty Security Force ID anywhere to be found, checked DS too, no LSF ID anywhere... :(

LSF ID is missing due to LSF NPCs missing. I may add this ID if it's really needed, but since LSF has no bases I don't even know where to put it for sale. Manhattan?
Next, gunboats. They can equip any turrets from class 1 to class 8, including fighter turrets. It's not a bug, this was done intentionally. Cruisers and battleships cannot do that, not a single one of them. Done to give slight advantage to gunboats, for example, ability to equip Tizona turrets and other top-tier fighter turrets. You now say that gunboats are not powerful enough, so why not use it?
As for gunboat weapons, gunboat talks here began on October 10, less than 2 days after Discovery 4.81 release. As weapons were not changed through beta 3-4, this issue could've been fixed if you said that just 2 days before. Not that I'm blaming you, but now... well, I guess you'll have to wait until next version.

True, I made a LSF tagged char for the fun of it, when I went to buy the ID, there wasn't one to buy... though, LSF being a kind of 'special force' in the LN... maybe the LN ID is OK then... and Manhattan seems appropriate, as there are the missions for the LSF, also, the Executioner (infocard says it's a LSF thing) fighter is on BS Rio Grande...
Not that I intend to keep that char, it's just a thought, but what if someone wants to RP as a LSF pilot? It is a possibility...
