It is exteemly annoying to have bought a transport class ship such as the Bumble Bee and when you wish to upgrade to a larger ship, so many ports that sell the larger ships are unable to let you dock! So you have to sell your transport for a SMALLER ship, just so you can dock at them to buy a larger transport!
to be more specific, Alex is referring to the mooring fixture that is next to the docking rings of every dockable planet & is there specifically for the big ships to use.

What a crock of poo!
If you mean planets, you can use mooring points to dock on them with ships of any size.

i normaly create an folder on my desktop, for freelancer and the freelancer modmanager.
than i install freelancer, and start it up as admin.
than i rightclick on the icon from the mod manager, and go to compatibility.
i than select the box,run this program as administrator.
than i installed the mod itself, and everything works just fine.
i had to place the folders on my desktop,as i use windows vista.
but with the new mod installation i,m running into the integrity problem.
i uninstalled freelancer, and the old mod.
than i uninstalled the mod manager as well,as that wont be needed again.
i than followed the instruction on the forum.
so i have an clean installation from freelancer.
but if i try to install the mod, than this is what i get:
i normaly must reinstall windows itself to solve this cinda problem, but i refuse to do that this time.
thats as it would cost me atleast 1 whole day,to get everything sorted.
there has to be an other solution for this.
i already did the whole thing over again, atleast 3 times now.
but it doesnt mather if i got the freelancer folder on my desktop,or in de default location.
its just not working for me at all,not even if i "do" start freelancer or the mod installer as administrator.
could someone please advice me on this?
that would be great.
thanks in advance.

Just deactivate 4.85 in Mod manager. After that un-instal Freelancer. After you did that (un-instaled FL) you need to install Freelancer, when you do that go double click on 4.86 (downloaded file). When it starts (instaling 4.86) go there ok,ok blah blah..... place it somewhere (where you want to keep that file).
Then go to "Start" and find "Discovery Freelancer" click on it and that's it.
