Snak, I'm not sure how you can give advice on understanding how things around here operate. You clearly don't understand them yourself.

Kaido and the [KSP] are breaking no rules by using this thread as their feedback thread. None. Thus, your little jab/rant about him being ignorant to some forum rules is rather moot and made only at attack him.

Kaido here doesn't really care about some wannabe thinking he can boss others around (as you put it) either. Was he ignorant to what his should and should not be brought up in his official faction creation thread? Sure. Does that make him a horrid person, worthy of such attacks by you or anyone else for that matter? No.

No, the arrogance and ignorance you are still displaying far outstripes Kaido by far. He is filtering valid information, of which yours isn't.

If the admins or mods have an issue with Kaido's [KSP] using this thread they'd lock it or move it. Neither has been done, so either a) they don't care or b) they haven't noticed.

If their use of this thread hurts you so much, file a sanction on them.

Eh. Mountains out of molehills, if you ask me, but for the sake of proper forum organization (which, by itself, is almost something of an oxymoron here), this thing's getting moved to "Other Factions and Groups".

Also, as a general note to everyone involved, this is still a thread about the KSP, not about forum organization, bossing people around, ignorance and/or arrogance, or other unrelated accusatory jabs. Those things can (and should) be handled via PM.



Now for actual faction-feedback. I think you guys should be starting fresh. Go back into the KSP's initial writeup, pick out what parts you want to keep, and mix it into a brand new home-cooked spread of general faction information. As it stands now, you've got a lot of outdated material being copied and pasted into your official faction request, with obsolete references to the Kempeitai and various ranks which may or may not even be in use anymore. In fact, you've copy-pasted nearly the entire "Internal Affairs" thread into your request with almost no alterations, which is written in the form of a (rather wordy) guide for new KSP officers. Not the best choice for a brief faction overview for presentation purposes, if you ask me.

I don't have a problem with you taking material from the previous generations of the KSP. There's still a good deal of solid material in the old writeups that can be recycled. But I would like to see the new KSP put some effort into making this faction their own, rather than a pure patchwork of information and ideas from the past. You guys have certainly been busy on the server, but it looks as though you've neglected to update your faction's foundations on the forum.

And it's probably not that big of a deal, but I'd also suggest starting new threads for the KSP's message dump, feedback, and whichever other KSP-related threads are still sitting around from the more ancient iterations of the faction. No need to carry their dead weight. It kind of clutters things up, considering that the majority of their posts are from several years ago, and they have nothing to do with the newest version of the faction.

By the way, maybe to remove tag passwords once the faction is dead? KSP doesn't seems to be poking around for a long time, even before that it was barely crawling around for activity. Is it wise to keep the tag restricted?

Well. So many possiblities. KSP| , KSP- or (KSP) aren't good enough? Though i agree with Curios. A horribly inactive faction, official or not, should loose the tag. But how to proove the inactivity for the in-official ones without the tracker?

P.S.: I tried to contact one of the [KSP] dudes via skype a few days ago. No answer so far. I try to get an answer from another one now.
