Actually filing a report because a fully rp ship is out of his ZOI on intention is valid.
That's why there are ZOI and that's why there's no liberty dreads in border worlds.
Warning a player that he is under threat of a sanction is not posing as admin, it's actually following the guideline about sanctions being the last resort and giving a player a chance to realize his mistakes.

ofcourse, it all falls under category of false rule layering the second he's wrong about something.

There are two parts to 3.5, which is why I bolded the second part.

There's a difference between pointing out to someone he's doing something wrong and why, which I do regularly in the hope it will save them a sanction later, than threatening with sanction.

Point things out nicely if you can, post a sanction if you must. Don't make threats about sanctions. At least, thats the way I understand things and the way I do them. Not that I've ever posted a sanction.

Edit: There's a difference between pointing out what someone is doing is sanctionable and threatening them with sanction.

I think it is even cool! More corsairs capital ships in New York, more sanction reports, less idiots will left in Gamma.

It's a shame you never sanctioned anyone. By sanctioning cheaters, f1ers and other people that balantly disrespect the rules of the forum you are helping the said community grow in a better place.

Sanctioning an f1er or constant re-engager, or player that switches chars to revenge is a thing you should do after they are not giving up.
Lets not even go into those new f1ers in jump holes, jump gates that don't even drop their loot when they manage to flee.

If anyone see's OPG tagged vessels in NY let me know. They should only be there to escort OTC or other smugglers shipping in Artifacts to the Junkers we deal with.

Said escorts are NOT there to raid and will only engage if the transports are threatened. This is IN RP and acceptable behaviour for Corsairs. Any other activity is deeply OORP and I would like to know who the perpetrators are so that the council of corsairs can also take additional action in addition to the actions imposed by server admins.

Im quite happy to use the council to slap down cap whoring lolwhutters who bring down the reputation of the corsairs.

Quite frankly im sick of these retarded actions reflecting badly on a Faction that has should be seen as something special.

Nuff said.

Ivan, I've never sanctioned anyone because I've never had cause to.

I don't meet f1ers, re-enagers or people of that sort, maybe luck, maybe because I don't get into a lot of pvp situations.

To date, every time I've contacted someone to suggest they fix something about their ID/ship/loadout or whatever else it might happen to be, I've been met with polite responses.

Different circumstances, different measures I guess.

We have done this issue time and again.

The only reason we should see Corsairs in liberty is as escorts to their smugglers - and by escorts we mean perhaps a couple of SMALL ships, not caps - smugglers do not want to draw attention to themselves, and neither do their escorts.
If there is an Admin in game please let them know if this happens and we shall send the poor lost souls back home.
