Jealousy is a part of the human nature, everyone is jealous at something. The difference is that some conceal their jealousy while some attempt to seek attention by blatantly expressing them.
However, sometimes lack of intelligence and stubborness is also to blame.
The more I am reading this thread, the more I see it's useless to discuss this.
Everyone has different experiences with those factions, for example I have no idea why SCRA is involved in this group. As far as I heard they are excellent RPers.
Terrorist ID's, well I have seen only a few, and I would never want to RP one, I dunno how would I do it, so I can't complain about it.
With rest of factions which were mentioned, what can I say, I had more bad then good encounters, and as long as it stays like that I have no reason to have good opinion about them.
I recently had one pretty bad experience with Keepers, but good thing is that I had chat with player who was kinda leading whole RP, and we smooth it out, but my opinion of Keepers didn't changed towards good or bad, it remained the same, and only cause he is first one who did it.
Only thing that changed is the respect towards the player who kinda admitted mistake instead just ignore it and claim he didn't do it. He did something that almost no one does in those factions.
And in my opinion that's the main reason for people not liking them.
Yes, I know you got to deal with lot's of lolwuts who just want to shot you, yes I am aware it's hard to RP while you are being targeted by 4,5 ossies gebs or god knows what else. But for god sake, don't have attidude "our RP is beyond that, we don't do that" etc. Say what ever you want now, I know not everyone are like that, but I haven't met many of those.
The Point of that Discussion is that not only the Coalition roleplays fine. The Keepers do, the Wilde does, the Phantoms do and the Terrorists do aswell, yet they all get flamed at, recieve Complaints and most of the Threads about them end up in Rage and Joe's old rusty Lock.
I created this Thread, because I was curious why that happens all the Time. Because from my Point of View I never see any of those mentioned above behaving bad or out of Roleplay or abusing their IDs. And I am close to my 800th Hour of Freelancer Playtime, which is -I need to say that- 100% Discovery and not from older Servers or Singleplayer.
I am not the only Person who thinks like that. Of course the Members of the Factions above do, but also a lot of Members like Zelty think the same as I do.

PvP whoring is the cancer of Discovery. Many of the restricted factions have the unlimited PvP choice, I think this is why some of us look at them with suspicion. It's just a theory.
