An Overheard Conversation in the Tripoli Bar

I am Bartolo. I grew up eating whatever the Corsairs would bring my small family on Crete. We survived because of the courageous men and women who would risk it all to bring us hope. My family was killed when a small fleet of Bretonian scum waylayed our convoy, which was headed for Cadiz. They were waiting there when we entered Omega-5 and their cannons opened up on us. We received no warnings. They just aimed to kill.
I escaped death only because my family was split between two ships. My brother Cortan and I were on a ship together and during the ambush we escaped behind Cadiz defenses. They were destroyed by those who sought to steal the life from our system, our empire.
My brother couldn't handle losing our family this way and he, being older than me at the time, stole a corsair fighter and made to seek revenge. He was last seen heading for the Cambridge system and I haven't heard from him in 7 years. I haven't given up hope for my brother Cortan. But as each day goes by, I begin to believe that he is dead, or worse, locked behind the walls of a Bretonian Prison.
I will never forget those brave Corsairs who kept my family fed. Nor will I forget what the Bretonian Bastards did to my people and my family. I will avenge their souls. I will find my brother. I will lay to waste the scum of this universe. Sails! By my cannon, our enemies will die!

Buenos dias!. My name is Edmund Dantes.
I was born, like most our hermanos on Crete. And I spent there all my life. Actually I'm 27 years old. And I need to do something with myself. Like tradition says I've gained knowledge about flying on fighters and bombers from my father. I was a part of some raids against our enemies. Also I was a part of defence forces of Gamma. So as you can see I have some experience in fight.

I'm Diego Perez, a child of Crete, with the true blood of Hispania flows in my veins. As a Corsair, I have been pirating for the survive of my family and for contribution to our Empire for years. But I find what I have done is too little, and I heard of you, the most famous the Sairs... I want to do more for the Empire, want to live as a part of her, and want to be one of you. I am here because I want to become one of you. My name is Sebastiano "Seby" Medici, born and raised on Crete. After my brother, Cipriano, left the planet without a trace, I had to do something. I thought about it, and I realized I want to start a life in space. After some weeks of training with a good amigo of mine, I think I can now handle the Titan well enough. Hola Senors!

I am Oziel "Ozzy" Gomez Farias and I am a very poor man, I just recently went through the death of both of my parents and my sisters on Crete and have managed to make it to the Cadiz outpost on an old decrepit ship that I happened across on my family's plot of land.

I managed to scrap up whatever I could find on my family's land and stowed in aboard the ship that I used to make it to the base. I barely made it alive. Now I offer my whole self to the Black Sails, as I have nothing else to live for and no where else to go.
