Dear Mr. Ferris Dufresne,

I must say we don't fully understand this decision. Those two independent worlds are plagued by pirates and criminals. Thanks to your bounty board piracy levels there significantly dropped in last months. With the bounty board gone, I am sure of it, criminals will once again take control over those systems and as consequence paralyze trade between Liberty and Bretonia. Since the announcement of Cortez and Magellan lockdown in December Emergency Defense Group Enterprise has claimed 48 bounties in these independent systems worth exactly 152 000 000 Sirius Credits. I am very sad to say that Liberty Government paid us only 20 000 000 Sirius Credits for just first 4 claims, which is less than 14% of the total sum of our claims. Liberty Government's reluctance to pay for Cortez and Magellan lockdown forced us to negotiate settlement of the debt in exchange for several Magma Hammer MKV guns and Liberty Gunboat turrets. For this agreement we have canceled 31 claims worth exactly 93 000 000 Sirius Credits. However, since the finalization of the technology access agreement we have claimed additional 12 bounties worth exactly 36 000 000 Sirius Credits. We ask you to send this payment to our financial office aboard Battleship Leviathan using EDGE|Leviathan neural net account.

[color=#99FF99]Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. As you are no doubt aware, the bureaucracy in Liberty can get in the way of the natural order of things flowing smoothly. I apologise for the inconvenience this has cost you.

In the matter of outstanding bounty payments made on this board, full and final settlement of 36 million credits has now been sent to your battleship. With this payment, I consider the matter is closed.

I do not need to give you a reason to why the board has been closed, however in the spirit of goodwill and co-operation it is as follows:

There were far too many boards running, which were difficult to keep on top of and the paperwork managed to break one of my precious desks. Furthermore, we are actively reviewing our bounty board structure as the effectiveness is not what was expected. I disagree Mr Payton, piracy will always be rife in Liberty and although I understand that not every criminal can be stopped, we must work towards that end. Excessive payments to bounty hunters can be redirected and used in training more police officers and getting more pilots into the Liberty Navy.

As I stated previously, continue your efforts on the main bounty board and you shall be rewarded. Please note that payments from henceforth shall be done weekly on a Sunday.
