Blarghest with some pulse guns and a nova torpedo rather then SNAC. Splat.
Nova torp blast range is more then enough to take out a Heggie flying straight. Watch out for clever captains realising that a heggie CD fires backwards through or you'll eat your own torps.

hmm... I heard that the CDs can't blow up novas, at least not a single one. can't recall having seen it so far either. Sadly the wiki doesn't seem to have the "hull strength" of the actual torpedo, or whatever it depends on. Also, just for nitpicking: Barghest can mount both. You could however mount two novas, scratch the shield a little bit with the pulses and then instakill it if it doesn't have sufficient armour

A CD will detonate any guided ammunition within it's blast radius as far as I'm aware. This includes missiles, mines and also nova torpedos, but not a SNAC bolt. Hull strength of the missile/torpedo is irrelevant, an EMP missile causes a premature detonation instead.
