right... but more "rheinlandish" would be to rename munich to Muenchen and Nurem. to Nuernberg

In English way of pronunciation and by rules it would go as 'Rhineland'. It should be pronounced like this, I guess, so I voted Rhineland.

Rhinoland 8-|||

Why? It makes sense to name your new nation after the most resource-rich region in your old state.

Does it?:mellow:What would be Liberty's name then? Or Bretonias? Kusari anyone?:D

There is a certain cultural aspect that most non-Germans don't know ...
People from Berlin (for instance) don't like Rheinland that much:DIn fact, the German carnival taking place in the "Ruhrpott" area started as a parody of Prussian military (so to speak, it's not stated as that in the English wiki-link I think:D). And for those who are unfamiliar with the geographys and history: Berlin was the capital of Prussia:D

Anyway ... can I hijack this thread and ask for another name for the House of Rheinland?:D

No you can't. Anyway, Rheinland makes perfect sense in every aspect.

And it is, just as a reminder, spelled R H E I N L A N D (for all those of you who still haven't gotten it)

It's not neither Rheinland nor Rhineland. Get used to it.

Awwww :(

You still haven't said WHY it makes sense to you to call a whole nation after a somewhat resource-rich place on the ingame ancient and probably destroyed earth! :P
