Since everyone in this room are just so amateurs when it comes to a revolution, maybe you monsieur will help us understand how did one group manage to rebel against the largest military force in the area and take over several systems?
This also rise how could one group of socialist miners stop one of the largest criminal organizations out there?
And how could just a group of angry former miners coup and claim nearly half of the Dublin system?
I guess that all of these are the result of the respective enemies being so nice, that they gave these groups those areas for free without any struggle or fight, oui?
He turns to the other representatives
Wow, all of us must be worst revolutioners ever, non?
Also monsieur Katz, enlighten me, how comes that you are so good revolutioner, and yet a revolution have rose in your very own revolutionary forces?
"The Coalition does not intend to explain itself to any of you, our internal politics are our own business. Our direction is ours. And our economic affairs, are ours alone."
He snapped his portfolio closed and pointed at first to the Blood Dragons, "You seek to pursue a revised Imperial agenda laid out for you by your ancestors, you believe it is your manifest desitny to overthrow the usurper and restore a totalitarian order. Frankly, your organization disgusts me."
He moved his finger to the LRF, "You are stone cold butchers, seeking the blood of any and all that get in your way."
His finger moved on to the Hellfire Legion, "Betrayal and backstabbing that dates back to well before I was a part of the Coalition. We were allies once, until you saw fit to exploit us for your own gain. And I assure you, I will never allow your ilk to stand at my back."
He swept on, pointing to the Council, "You have extended yourselves too far, too fast. Lacking a mandate of the people you stand staring down the barrel of a vastly superior force who will utterly eradicate you. Your fractured politics, inability to form stable leadership, and utter ineffectuality in the Galactic arena of diplomacy have sealed your fate."
Turning he stared at the Red Hessians, "And these are the ones who you want US to ally with? And you accuse the Coalition of watering down its politics in light of reformation? You're proposing an alliance with Counter revolutionaries, those who would sunder all you have worked for, and would betray the Coalition in a heart beat."
"You claim that the time is right to deal with these people, that they are better than dabbling in the houses affairs? We have gained ground, where you have failed. We have won political campaigns, military ones, and boosted our cause through it. And you ask me to forsake all of that, for what? the promises of half-wits, incompetents, and the psychotic that have seen fit to grace this chamber?"
"I fear we have wasted our time in coming here, the Coalition will stand alone if it must. A bastion for when your allies fall, one by one to their own Counter-Revolutionary tactics. And mark me well, you will remember the Coalition, in the darkest of days... And you will find us there, waiting for you, to pick you back up, as friends do, to carry on the fight. The Mollys know our value, and they know we will be there for them."
He sneered at the rest of the room, "As for you, we will crush you the same way that we crush all that stand in the path of our Coalition. You call yourselves revolutionaries... your dictators, Imperialists, and cowards. And I will not share the same room as you."
Motioning to the Coalition Delegation, the trio stood and marched from the chamber, returning to their ships.
Instead of being offended Peter laughed slightly before shaking his head at Katz as he left, that was rich comming from a organization who seemed to make a habit of eventually betraying their allies, he had heard rumors of them turning on the Order, after they left the LRF high and dry he wasn't surprised that he would snap out at the members of the delegations present.
"It seems the Coalition has showed it's true colours, I am hardly surprised at that outcome, they come here to insult us and our various movements while claiming moral superiority?" he scoffed while shaking his head almost sadly.
"It makes me wonder what else they are up to aside from undermining the Front's efforts in Liberty...But in any case, I pledge the Front's support in any endevour the Red Hessians wish to make to creating supply lines." he stated with a nod, making a mental note to keep a further eye on Coalition ship movements near Liberty for now on...
"The People's Flag is deepest red. It shrouded oft our martyred dead."
Gregory lifts his face from his files slightly annoyed
This conversation has upset me, watching friends and allies insulting and accusing each other when this Congress was hold to discuss our unity as Revolutioners! sighs I will withdraw untill you have all calmed down.
Gets off his chair and arranges his files in order
Let me know when you're able to have a reasonable discussion
As the Coalition delegation left the room, Meisnerr watched with disappointment visibly painted on his face. He hoped at least the Molly delegates would change their minds and return quickly. He knew before he even accepted the position of chair of this part of the discussion, before the Congress even started, that this whole thing was going to be far from easy. The room eventually calmed down, and he took back to the podium in an attempt to make as much of what was left of this gathering as he could.
It is a great shame that we were unable to look past our emotions in the previous discussion. I called on the topic with intent to solve a problem, to bring us closer together rather than split us. This barrage of epithets was shameful and uncalled for. From both sides. But perhaps in time we may be able to reconcile our differences.
In the mean time I have no choice but to denounce the new reformist methods of the Coalition in the face of the revolutionary ideology that they swore to pursue. Myself and the Red Hessian Army will keep true to the revolutionary struggle, the Volksrevolution. I however will implore the congress to not degenerate to the point of open conflict with the Coalition, we cannot let disputes such as this create a state of war between us as that is exactly what the Houses want: to turn the revolutionaries against each other.
It is my hope that we can eventually see past this first failure and reunite, hopefully on a future Congress gathering. Until then, I firmly believe we should continue to strengthen ties between each other. I will leave it to Herr Von Stierlitz to announce the next part of the discussions.
He motioned to the Rot Front official, and stepped down from the podium to take his place among the delegates once again.
It is neither the first time it happens, nor the last one. It's pity that unity soon turned into this. Perhaps the next time, our hosts could choose more wisely those who will invite. You see, if LRF and Blood Dragons have many differences with the Coalition, we cannot expect them to have a warm conversation either.
I feel that it is my time to go. I am not an active Guild Member anymore in order to represent the Guild in more practical subjects. Hopefully you heard my speech with interest and maybe kept something from it. I would also like to sincerely thank our hosts for their hospitality.
[font=Times New Roman][color=#FFFFFF]Howard put on his hat and reached the ICMG delegate. He then leaned fortward and whispered to her.
[color=#CCFFFF]Elrica you made a magnificent, passionate speech. It's always good to see you. Maybe one day you can visit this old man back in Cambridge. I can arrange you to give a speech to my students, if you'd also like.
[font=Times New Roman][color=#FFFFFF]After he said that, Howard Taylor left the room. Unlike the other delegates he didn't have any escorts or associates.
Otto stepped on Meinsner's place, following the back of the Miners' Guild delegate with his eyes for a second until the latter one disappeared behind the heavy doors. Von Stierlitz had not expected such a remarkable clash of ideological stubbornness with the overall purpose of event, yet he did his best to keep that poker face.
Esteemed delegates, unfortunately, this deliberate provocation was exactly what I was talking about a while ago. Any revolutionary effort can fall a victim of reaction and every strongest ideology can be corrupt by the lack of comprehension of the problematic context.
[color=#000000]It saddens me to see the Sirius Coalition to not being able to stand the critical approach to their opportunist detours and see beyond their own speculative economical interest. But given the circumstances we are obliged to proceed in our search of common ground here and now, otherwise it would appear to be that a single act of disrespect can disrupt us and render this meeting useless.
Our meeting is devoted to sharing the experience and solutions for the formative problems of the revolutionary struggle and establishing ties between us to make us stronger than before. The revolutionaries of all kind, with mutual respect and understanding had never assembled like that before and the potential of collaboration between free people without mutually exclusive interests shouldn't be lost. With your permission I would make this speech the closing one of our plenary program.
Since the classic communist era of Sol, philosophers, scientists and the revolutionary vanguard as whole had seen the possibility of the worldwide changes that would allow them to establish the states for the People, the states of equality and stand on the path of socialistic evolution. Unfortunately, the newborn ideals of socialism and the established bourgeois system came into confrontation and led to the escalation of the general conflicts of the past world. That story of progress, as well as the examples of degradation of the revolutionary movements under the reactionary pressure became the theoretical basis for the modern world model.
Our struggle depends on the material values as much as it depends on moral and intellectual ones, but while no third party should be allowed to shape the revolution of other nation, our technological advances, our methodology and our industrial strength are what can be shared between those who build the future. To establish the regimes of oppression the crowned aggressors utilize the methodology of economical warfare, turning the whole might of House economy into the machine feeding the militarist clique and cutting the supply ties of the opposition to isolate and annihilate those who dare stay against them.
Under those circumstances the close cooperation between revolutionary forces in field of establishing an effective economical and strategic model which would allow us to achieve an independence from the cooperation with the House politico and demagogues who base their decisions on the momentary demands of election cycle and populist slogans. Therefore I'm glad to announce that the plenary program is over, yet the time for the round tables and constructive discussions of particular slices of Sirius revolution are waiting.
Stepping down from the tribune Otto had exchanged a meaningful look with Kaspar Meisnerr. 'There is no point to grieve over the Premier's choice. I don't like to say that, but with or without the Coalition we would continue to improve our relations with our new comrades all over the Sirius. Volksrevolution will prevail.', - he added and headed towards the other delegates.
We have invited and continue to invite the other Revolutionaries to share power with us.
[color=#000000]The time for speeches and public questions and answers is over. All participants are invited to proceed into the dining room #3 for the dinner, drinks and more light hearted, informal talks.
Remember, tomorrow at 10:00 the Red Arrow will be leaving for the sightseeing tour, providing you yet another opportunity for negotiations, which we intend to use to the fullest, but more of that later and in more private talk.
We have invited and continue to invite the other Socialist-Revolutionaries to share power with us.
[color=#000000]The informal part of the Congress came to an end. We thank everybody who participated and didn't harm the door on their way out, and are sure of many new agreements forged during private talks in the closing days and hours.
This annual, first, but certainly not the last, Sirius Revolutionary Congress is closing, and we look forward seeing you more frequently in the following days, for if we stand united, we can achieve our goals faster and the inevitable outcomes of our respective movements' struggle would shine their light on Sirius in the nearest future.
Quote:Hostile whirlwinds wafted above us,
We are oppressed by the dark force.
We will destroy this order of sorrows,
We'll crush evil reign without remorse!
We'll rise our banner with courage and pride,
The banner, which will lead the workers to fight,
The banner of struggle for good of all nations,
The banner of anger and full cups of patience.
To bloody fight,
sacred and right!
March, march to arms,
smash all who harms!
Today many workers die of starvation.
How much longer we'll hold our tongue?
Threats and harassments won't stop our actions
Because we are fearless, proud and young!
Fallen with honor for their beliefs
Will not be forgotten forever and ever,
Their names will be remembered for deeds,
Descendants will sing of the heroes together.
To bloody fight,
sacred and right!
March, march to arms,
smash all who harms!
We hate dictators and their reign,
We will destroy their thrones with our chains,
Their blood will flow like a river, like rain,
We'll make them feel our suffering, our pains.
We'll show no mercy for the oppressors,
Death and revenge to all of these brutes
Parasitizing on laboring masses!
We'll crush their skulls with our boots!
To bloody fight,
sacred and right!
March, march to arms,
smash all who harms!
