It's not really about saris getting nerf, but, for example, the legate apart from the osiris will become useless because the hessian BS forward gun will rape it to death : 315k hp damage for 1.1 mil of energy??? Lucky with the 10 seconds refire rate.

The trick is to measure the actual distance between Alpha and Gamma now.
When people say you cant go through Eta - that is not true. Its just that the shortest path now diverts into Sigma-19 once you are in Eta (coming from OC space).
So Hispanics are more likely to run into each other in that light dust cloud in Sigma-19, out near the Sigma-17 gate. The Gas Miners can come and ambush you, but they will have to leave the nebula to do it.
Or you can come raid their miners, or Rheinland, or Kusari - its all good!
Speaking about getting out to kill something:D- I have some questions about Corsair ID changes and rules of behaviour.
In 4.85 with Corsair ID you could go to many many systems of Sairs ZoI, BUT with Corsair Guard ID AND capital ship - only to few systems. The exception to this was flying with large balanced fleet (same number of snubs and caps).
Are there any changes now, especially about the rules of using Corsair capital ships or we should act exactly the same as in 4.85?
I don't have any problems with playing exactly the same, I'm just curious if in 4.86 Corsair cap ships has been granted more "independence" because of some RP reasons and faction strategy.

Yes, the rules are the same. The cap rules were stated in the Corsair Laws which is an InRP document, not in the ID. Those InRP restrictions still stand. You can take a Legate to New Berlin but the Elders won't like it and you can expect cash penalties or even exile from the Empire
' Wrote:A fair amount of the blame can be put on me about Eta. I've pushed for a long time to see it's removal so that we can get the Hispanics back in Sigmas where they belonged. I didn't succeed in it's deletion but it appears we opened that little Eta box up and integrated it to the Sigmas. We'll be coming to you if you don't come to us.
Here you can enter a short message which will be automatically appended to the bottom of your posts.

No wonder why there are 4 leagates for sale and some osiris for price like 340 mill.
Good job Devs. You have successfully backstabbed corsairs.

Its not just a thought. Its a fact. It can be supported by only peoples who hates sairs that much. I have ships in many factions but none suffered losses as much sairs do.
And you can see the effect with selling geb osiris and legates. As oc dread got a sleek design sarissa got less importtant
