Well in RP my Freelancer, as a side job, is a computer and machine programmer, although I haven't really been merchandising on the subject. So far my only RP 'program' was a modification of my Gunship's computer systems, to allow a single person to operate the ship.... and incidentally, requires more work, programming, time, and money, as it currently works very poorly.
I am better with the program itself than what its operating on.
(Yes that goes for real life AND the RP of the character.)
EDIT: I do not mean I have created a cyborg in real life OR inRP. I MYSELF prefer to be the one pulling the shots.... (or get hit by shots, as seems to be the usual). Just look at the Harvesters. Didn't they at one point SERVE the Zoners? And look at all those movies of machines turning on their creators. I think its safe to say that it is better to let a human being do the work.
While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack http://pastebin.com/SYQXBufs
Just let him get on with it. If we don't like his RP then we can just ignore him in game and on the forums. He'll either get bored or banned at this rate.
No-one likes 'all-powerfull-demi-god' characters, this server is about fitting in with the freelancer world, making yourself a part of it. it is not about becoming the biggest most badass mofo that you can possibly imagine..
If that were the case, we'd all fly a battleship and then the one you've got would be nothing special.
Plus, you gain far more respect from nailing fighters from the cockpit of another fighter than you do from your battleship.
I think its far more fun to fly fighters anyway, its a real adrenaline rush when you get stuck into a big furball of a fight....
Done here now I feel, enough old tat for one night. Cam, you have been asked to sort it.
Next move is a roleplay sanction follow up ... 24 hours to sort it out please.
And another *Chubb mode* in motion ... The bunch of keys is getting too big. So the rest of you go off and
do something useful now, nothing to see here, move along please.
