There've been plenty of succesfull patrols in the past. Unfortunately my guncams which included most of the evidences broke during a fight against the Red Hessians. I'll try to catch up and fill a report including the files that remained.
Oberst Wolthers ordered me to report this incident; A Luxury Liner Kaeno was attempting to transport a shipment of refugees, probably from planet Nuremberg, from Hamburg through the independent worlds up to the Republic of Liberty. Luckily, Oberst Wolthers managed to stop the luxury liner before passing Alster Shipyard. A long conversation about the ethical correctness followed. All of a sudden the liner started an escape attempt, which failed. Heavily damaged the luxury liner released the refugees in escape pods which then have been transported by a Freelance transport ordered by Oberst Wolthers.
I recently have been told that the treaty between Kusari and Rheinland doesn't apply to Polizei asstets. I apologize for entering Kusari space for the sole purpose of escorting a civilian. I accept punishment, since I am sure there will be some.
The trader who called himself "Kay" has been transported from New Berlin to Honshu and then back to Stuttgart - the the Diamond Dropoff base. The base has been inspected and the result can be seen in the attachment.

Tag!
Wachmann Bittner and I escorted a Libertonian merchant through Hamburg system to Hudson gate, because Corsair barbarian was following him. Without any problem we left Merchant, who paid me 2,000,000 credits, at the Hudson gate. Later at Neu Berlin we met another merchant with the load of Super Alloy so we escorted him to Stuttgart where we encountered a Hessian Cruiser.
Cruiser was eliminated with additional help from Direktor Carsten.
Later we encountered The Order pilot in Frankfurt system, unfortunately suspect managed to get into "Hazard" zone where we cancelled our interception.
PRIORITY:Low ENCRYPTION:RFP 9234 - Medium IDENTIFICATION: Wachmann Gustav Nijmegen SOURCE:Brandenburg Station SUBJECT: New Berlin Patrol
Guten tag, Wachmann Gustav Nijmegen reporting on a recent patrol in the New Berlin system.
There was some traffic in and out of the Capital, most of it normal. On an extended range patrol through the Aachenfeld, I picked up a signal from within the asteroids, standard radio operations signals. It took a bit of time to trace the source, but we pinpointed the location of this [Hideout], as it was marked, slightly out and above the standard route. The installation did not show any outside markings of affiliation, and the docking system did not respond to our docking requests. I am unsure if the station is inhabited, or if it's running on automatisms.
I relay these informations to Polizei command for further action.
------------------
In addition to this finding, RFP|Chemnitz cruiser requested my assistance with cargo policing in the Hamburg system. I proceeded with the RFP behemoth to the Planet Hamburg orbit, where the captain had stopped a strange borderworlds transport [ TLC.Mordhauser ] with an excessive load of libertonian Business Delegates. Our transport took 2770 of them with haste to nearby facilities, while the remaining ones were handled by the Chemnitz itself. Fines were paid to the Chemnitz, but we have also received a reward for good operations on the Business Delegates.
The reward amounted to 33.4 Million credits, which together with some additional working payouts from standard police operations, were transferred to the RFP|Arsenal for accountancy. The total transferred was 43.000.000 credits.
We have flown a bit more, attempted to intercept a blood diamond shipment together with the Chemnitz, and heard rumours of Liberty Rogue destroyer activities in the Hudson system.

Oberst Wolthers hier.
during mein duty I had to witness ein increase in smuggling or illegal and unhuman transportation of people lately. But let me go into detail:
Unhuman transportation
Ein few days ago, I took command of the Chemnitz to enforce the law around Hamburg. During that time I had to witness several cargo ships that were trying to ferry humans under unworthy condition. With the help of Wachmann Bittner, I was able to solve this problem.
Nun, in most cases. There was one OSC transport that was able to land on Hamburg although told otherwise. I will forward the information to the criminal data base. Logs:*
Ilegal base in New Berlin destroyed
There is not much to say about this incident. After giving the administration of the base "hideout" enough time to evacuate their illegal construction the Chemnitz took care of the base with the help of Wachmann Nijmwegen and another military bomber pilot. Logs:*
Artifact smuggling
TLAG sensors alarmed me two times about two different smuggling ships loaded with artifacts. Wachmänner Bittner, Nijmwegen and me were able to disable one when the smuggler tried to flee. Another was sadly able to escape justice and initiate docking sequence to Freeport 2 in Bering. I think it is time to have ein talk with the zoners about this topic again. Logs:****
Research ship with unusual cargo
Yesterday, Wachmann Nijmwegen and I met ein scientist named Hans von Goeben and his modified Geisha yacht. He claimed it to be his mobile lab and that his group, the Ingenous Research Group originates from Omicron Delta. While I did not understand everything about his work in this part of Sirius, some part of his cargo drew mein attention.
Aboard his ship sensors picked up some strange sort of gas, called Azurite gas. The ship sensors went haywire when trying to scan the containments any further which made this all even more suspicious to me. To make sure that this gas is not ein danger to Rheinland, I confiscated the gas for security reasons and forwarded the gas to our laboratories for further investigation. So far they could not get any additional information regarding this certain gas but they assume that it is more than what one of us might imagine.
Thus they would like to contact their colleagues from the BDM| as their expertise might be of help. Logs:**
PRIORITY:High ENCRYPTION:Medium IDENTIFICATION:Inspekteur Wilhelm Steinmetz SOURCE:Nibelung Polizei Plaza, Planet New Berlin SUBJECT:Important announcement
Sehr geehrte beamte of the Federal Polizei of Rheinland,
My name is Wilhelm Steinmetz and I have been appointed to serve the important position of the Inspekteur within the Federal Polizei. It is an honour for me to announce these news today, leading the Polizei of the Bundesrepublik Rheinland is also a lot of responsibility; which I've been working towards down my entire life.
Of course, I will introduce myself to everyone of you. My career has begun with my application for the Rheinwehr - back when the Bundesrepublik fought the war against the Republic of Liberty. Given there was an urgent need of Polizei units to fight back the Red Hessian threat in West-Rheinland, I have been transfered into the ranks of the Bundespolizei. I've been serving the Federal Polizei for multiple years (Including my time within Bundesgrenzschutz division), and I climbed up the ladder up to the rank of Oberst in the meantime. I'm proud that I ended up within the ranks of the Polizei, since, as everyone of you knows, it is the Federal Polizei which keeps up the safety of Rheinland's people within Rheinland.
But for now, meine Damen und Herren, back to work!

First of all I'd like to congratulate and welcome Inspekteur Steinmetz for his recent promotion. Though I have to admit this has come all of a sudden.
May I ask what has happened to Inspekteur Clausewitz? There was no announcement of her resigning so far.
Anyway, below you can find ein small summary about yesterday's patrol through Rheinland. I have to admit, I haven't seen so many smuggling attemps in such short time.
Slave smuggling attemp Nr 1
TLAG scanners highlighted several ships entering Rheilnand space from Liberty with slaves aboard. The Ragnar freighter Geilenkirchen was able to intercept the smugglers in Omega-11. After mein attempt to make them stop and surrender the poor people aboard, I had to open fire on the smuggling ships. Two transports were destroyed by the Geilenkirchen and Direktor Casten, their slaves freed to rescued to Solarius station.
Ein third smuggler was forced to pay ein fine of 3.555.000 credits - forwarded to the Arsenal - although the whereabouts of the slaves formerly on the ship are unknown. Logs:*******
Slave smuggling attemp Nr 2
Later on the day, TLAG sensors indicated another smuggler incoming from Liberty. This time, ein agent of the BDM was already present and was able to catch the smuggler.
He claimed to have "freed" these people, but both the agent and me doubted that story.
We ordered the freelancer to surrender the poor people to the Geilenkirchen so that they could be brought to ein safer location and medical treatment.
The smuggler tried to enter the atmosphere of Hamburg after his docking rights were revoked by me. The ship was ripped apart, the status of the crew unknown.
With the help of the ALG freighter Ragnar we were able to rescue ein part of slaves that were drifting in escape pods in orbit of planet Hamburg. Logs:****

Guten Tag, Sehr geehrte polizisten of Rheinland Federal Polizei. Leaving Inspekteur Clausewitz hier again, but maybe for last time.
I suppose all of you saw message from new Inspekteur Wilhelm Steinmetz. For some it was likely quite a surprise, for some others not so much. To prevent spreading false rumours, I think I owe an explanation to all of you.
Some of you noticed I was not really available recently and reason are my health issues which require strenuous treatment. This does not allow me to do my job properly and thus I decided to at least temporarily leave my position and focus on my health. I am sure Inspekteur Steinmetz is fully capable to hold the highest rank of federal polizei. If I will be able to recover, maybe we will meet again one day.
Now, for the last time I have the opportunity to reward the effort and dedication which some of you invest in the duty. In months June and July, Oberst Thomas Wolthers continued in his exemplary commitment and thus earned himself Dedicated Polizist Award and Untiring Polizist Award. Apart from him, Polizeidirektorin Laura Carsten earned Very Active Polizist Award in both months and Wachmann Gustav Nijmegen in the second one as well. Last but not least, Active Polizist Award goes to Detektiv Wolfram Kruppstahl and Wachmann Joel Bittner.
Speaking of Wachmann Nijmegen, I am happy to announce his promotion to rank of detektiv. He fullfilled all requirements and can serve as example for other wachmänner. Congratulation!
This is all, the only thing left is to say Auf Wiedersehen. I wish Inspekteur Steinmetz gut luck and I hope you will make him proud same way you made me.
That´s all, everybody back to work, there is Rheinland to be protected!

This time I only have to mention one incident that has happened in orbit of New Berlin. The BDM called in support from the Polizei, because ein wanted ship from the RCDB - the RS|RSD-Republican was caught near Oder shipyard.
As the ship is wanted for using military technology without permission and escaping law enforcement several times, we tried to make sure the Rebpublican pilot and his ship did not get away that easily this time.
After several hailings and orders from both the present BDM agents, me and Direktor Artura failed and we exchanged some disruptor missiles, the BDM and us opened fire on the gunboat. The pilot did not really defend himself but instead tried to make ein forced landing on New Berlin.
The attempt failed and the gunship crashed into New Berlin's orbit.

Einen Guten Tag!
Today I was engaged in my first patrol. The Route was from Planet New Berlin, out to Brandenburg border station, to Bonn Station, Essen and out to hamburg. As I exited the lane at Essen, I encountered a hostile contact on my scanners. I moved to investigate, and encountered an LWB Bomber harrassing civllians passing through the gate. After I ordered him to stand down, he engaged me. I was severely outgunned, however do to the Phantom's agile nature, and assistance from Essen Station's turrets, I was able to bring the Bomber down, and arrest the pilot.
Continuing on my patrol, after docking for repairs at Essen, I entered the Hamburg system. I cruised alongside the trade lane to Planet Hamburg, then took the lane to Battleship Westfallen. There, I encountered a freelancer trader transporting Side Arms, just exiting the trade lane on the Far side of the Westfallen. I ordered him to cut his engines and submit for inspection. He refused and did not respond to further prompts. He docked with the Hamburg trade lane, and I pursued him to Planet Hamburg, where I fired several warnings shots, lowering his shields and damaging his hull. He finally responded, and the situation was resolved peacefully. He was fined for 1.5 Million Credits.

Einen Guten Tag!
The Patrol today began somewhat shakily. I chased down a transport who refused to halt and, after a warning volley, his ship strangely escaped visual scanners. After a quarter hour of searching I returned to the Hamburg system, only to encounter a Libertonian Navy ship, or so it's IFF claimed. It turned out to be a simple error, his IFF had not been updated since he left active service, and he bore a Freelancer ID. He was carrying a small load of basic alloy, and was permitted through to New Berlin, likely to unload it at Oder or The Ring. He queried me about a Career as a trader for a Rheinland corporation, and I pointed him in the direction of Dauman Heavy Construction, as he was already headed to Oder.
The remainder of my patrol was uneventful, until i entered a new patrol with an Inspector. He proceeded to oversee me on several inspections, and things proceeded quite normally, untill we encountered a cargo train transporting multiple Civillian passengers (2800 by my ship's scanners) despite the law stating only Liner or otherwise approved vessels may carry more than a hundread passengers. He asked to be permitted to go as far as Stuttgart before he had to unload the civillians, as they were from Brettonia, so they might be closer to the Brettonian border. The Inspector permitted this on request of another Wachmann. He ordered me to assist in the escort, and we made it to the Stuttgart system. In the trade lane in system however, my lane was disrupted, and the Transport and the Wachmann continued on. I caught up to them at planet Stuttgart, the implied drop off, only to see them taking the Trade lane toward the Omega system. Before i could dock with the trade lane they had already exited the other side. They were ahead of me, and as I dropped out of the Trade lane only to see them enter the next, I encountered the Rheinland Gunboat RNC-Berlin. I contacted him, asking him to assist me, as the Wachmann had given the transport illegal orders to continue on to the Omega system. When confronted by myself and the RNC-Berlin, he claimed that his orders were only to bring the trader to Stuttgart, that was to say the stuttgart system. And that anything besides that was up to the trader. I was clearly able to see he made no attempt to stop the trader from taking the Jump gate, infact guiding him up to it. A seperate report will be filed on his actions, however rather than confront him about it, we were called back to New Berlin do to the apperance of multiple RHA Bombers near planet New Berlin.
