It's not jelly. It's just something that is abused to gain profits by avoiding possible interactions. Which developers and admins already told to be not the designed role of Barge.

It will create a defacto state of discrimination between established and newer players by altering by approximately 2 orders of magnitude the availability of PoB equipment. Yes, you can make a LOT of money barge jumping, but it will also cause a huge disruption in supplying parts that are either space intensive or required in the tens or thousands. One example is reinforced alloy which can see volumes in excess of 50,000 units for a jump drive. That means the equipment will be much less quickly created, thus much less available to newer players.
The economy argument is fallacious. We don't have an actual economy here because all of the NPC facilities are infinite. What does it matter that you can make xxxxxx amount money in a given time frame? Not barge jumping, it took me about 12 hours to buy a Zoner carrier.
As to the RP argument, I have yet to meet more than one pirate that goes beyond Gimme.
I believe the end result of this will be to kill the small PoB industry to solve a problem that doesn't impact anyone.
We all have an Angelic and a Demonic side. Use of them determines good or evil in the end.
I don't know how people here are like "PoBs will be dead, blah blah, equipments blah blah". There are lots of PoBs that are supplied by regular trading, and not jump trading/barge jumping. Gateway PoB is one, I have supplied it. I own a PoB that I supply without jump trading.
If you think you can't supply a PoB by normal ways of trading, then you shouldn't have built such a PoB at first.
