Forgot to ask this before. If we are gettting Omega "55" back close to its original location, pretty please can we see the reinstating of its old system name? Omega 15 has been sorely missed, and never forgotten...

I’m one of the first to prefer the O-15 name, but I’m afraid that ship has sailed. Not only because we got Sigma-15 in the meantime, but because O55 has been around long enough to the point that it has had its story for many years directly tied to the name. Changing the name now for no better reason than “it used to be like this 15 years ago” would step on all previous roleplay made by players. Every change technically does this (even splitting O48 into 47 and 49 - if you roleplayed something in O48 suddenly that roleplay is soft retconned in 5.3. The same way people’s roleplay in 47 and 49 were retconned when the merge into O48 happened) which is why we try to avoid it unless there’s a proper reason, or make it as soft of a landing as possible consequences-wise.
