Had a great time, fellas. It was nothing short of an awesome event. Due to the Moonstone being destroyed in Omicron 100, Midori and I got to spend a night at Evora as did the ship's commander. We should be starting for home shortly.
Please let me thank everyone for the very good work out there.
It was really an amazing cooperation and even with that massive nomad fleet after us we could bring the Leonard to her destination and ensured the safety of the shipyard by defending these aliens.
But i'm concerned about the size of that alien fleet and that a whole BHG fleet in Omicron Theta did not even think about attacking them. Instead they were hunting guests of our Freeport there and getting drunk.
Well we do have a long standing trust with them, though we should discuss this a bit further. I don't think if we were to give them control of Freeport 15 it would cause any problems for us. Though the rest of the ZA may look down on this, it's too soon to tell. That's all I have to say for now, take care Yev.

Well, sorry to see the OSI leave us but the fact they went on their own won't affect friendships or the trust we have earned. They just want to do their own diplomacy.
I don't see why they shouldn't be given control of FP15.

ZA already allows people to do their own diplomacy. That's why ZA was created.
The potential problem here is how do we interpret OSI's departure from ZA? ZTC wanted to leave the Alliance way before anyone else did because many folks did not want to be in another sub-group. But we stuck around and tried to make it the best possible. I dare say that Louisa Salome has been one of the most active ZA members. Now OSI up and leaves in the middle of negotiations without so much as a "let us hope we'll still keep friendly relations." Sam's tone is cold and I'd go so far as to call it confrontational.
The fact that William Cross is still showing interest in Security Com. negotiations makes me wonder if Sam is "sticking his opinion in place of a general consensus." Oh my. How ironic. That's sort of what I get accused of doing all the time.
P.S. I still support giving Freeport 15 to OSI until they get their own base. We are discussing the issue in private chambers and shall see what the overall consensus is.
I've made up my mind, and I suppose I'm all for giving them Freeport 15 temporarily until they get their own bases. Not sure what the rest of you think but that's just my opinion.
